Ok, I don’t think it was Edward. He’s not heavy enough or fast enough to inflict that kind of damage on another engine of relatively similar size. He knows about it because he was around back then. Figure how many things does Edward unwillingly know about simply because he was there? I think it was either of the two “disgraced” express engines(98462 or 87546) from the railways series. Those two could be callus enough to haul enough ass through the fog to pilfer that tank engine. They certainly weigh enough, and it fits both of their personalities.
@@TheTrainTheoristOfficial well, I mean add up the clues. Gordon doesn’t know who it is, but Edward does. Gordon arrived *after* 98462 and 87546, as those two clowns arrived when Henry did. My theory: 87546 was covering for Henry, as he was probably broke down. 87546 was trying to prove to Topham that Henry was in fact useless, so he was going too fast in the fog to beat Henry’s time and prove his worth over Henry. As such, he didn’t see the stalled tank engine on the line until it was too late. You can probably guess the rest.
@@oldtechman10134 This is actually similar to my head canon why Alfred (in my AU he never wore the number 98462) and 87546 were sent away in disgrace. Alfred was hauling a goods train but missed a red signal and crashed into one of the W&S engine who derailed, 87546 hit the wreckage while hauling the express after he stole it from Gordon (they had a huge rivalry) and were replaced by James.
omg he has rebranded to “train theory” now he can ruin thomas fans childhood’s
If he doesn't get a custom intro...
...I don't know what I'm gonna do, but I'll do something.

Good Point...Unfortunately, there was really nothing that suggested that within the Fog Phantom Series...
