- Live and unrehearsed on Bobby Frictions legendary show on BBC Asian network.
Bobby Friction gave me some desi tracks to try and cover, by doing what i do, i.e. beatboxing into loopers and producing tracks live.
So... I listened to each of them. . was most into this one by Shiva Soundsystem feat. D-code. . .and did it after having listened to the track about 4 times in the studio.

This is pretty incredible considering the circumstances. I wouldn't say it's his best work, but damn... under pressure like that, having NEVER HEARD THE SONG. Holy F-nuts... what a musical improv god!
The thing I like most in this clip is that he never cops out and loops the Moog or Kaossilator. Live the whole way. Dope.
Anyone who doesn't understand how fucking amazing this is simply has no grasp of music in general. This is no fucking joke. He's creating every sound on the fly with no time to go back and change tones and timing. This is not something just anyone can do.
i don't know at all how the original sounds like, but creating this live and spontaneously is just mutherfuckin' awesome

Beardyman has an uncanny talent for reproducing sound, it's probably his biggest strength as a beatboxer and as a producer. It's been pointed out (specifically on Headspace) that his vocal talent is one of a kind, and this is an example of how unique that gift really is.

I can't stop listening to him, every single day, every time I'm online, when I'm in the car, shower and also at work. (not in that order) I'm running out of places to listen to him at. Supermarket, library and a mall are next. haha! How many times can I listen to the essential mix and his album without getting sick of it? These are questions left unanswered. Time to start ripping all the youtube videos and put them on my video player for the car.

Love the Video and Love the performance!!! Notice how he use multiple KP3 to instantly capture the vox, then loop it with effects included, then by switching up(banking) the different motifs to create the ever evolving rhythm. Great use of the mini korg, taking basic synth sounds and processing them in real time to create a "co-hook" with the vocals, ALL while use the Kaoss pad to create modulation and movement within the mix!! @martinadrianramos his set here in winnipeg he had some troubles to. he actually walked off the stage for a moment after unplugging equipment and throwing it down on the table with all his stuff. he was doing house and messed up so bad. but we all cheered him. :)

Yeah Dub FX is great and his music is from the heart. But this guy is phenomenal in creating many styles and improvization. He is crazy joker with unbelievable talent.
