What if it's an import from Japan with 120000 mileage?

Well, the point would be that you could answer the question for yourself after watching the video.

your video on the subject is hardly touching the relevant topics. Instead of 'dynamics and looks etc etc, you should be talking about how 'strong' and easy to work these engines and gearboxes are. mechanical running gear etc is easy to maintain or not. cost of running and ease of 'maintenance' etc etc. These cars are obviously normal 'run of the mill' cars which suited to 'not so rich ' drivers in the UK. I dont think you should be 'looking down' on these cars. We have a DIY culture here in the UK and feel the we ARE proud of it too. Let alone condemning it should not even condone it. PLEASE encourage the use and ownership of the old 1.9TDi. which are far more reliable than the 2.0TDi or even 1.6TD. Thanks.

I fully appreciate your point of view. However, I must also mention that you disconsider my position. It is my attempt to shed some light on Romanian car culture, or rather the lack thereof, since many of my countrymen seem to lift VAG products onto new heights in total disconsideration of other interesting brands or products. Sure, the mk5 Golf is a reliable, sturdy and attainable car, but that is not the point of this video. However, UA-cam is a vast expanse of unlimited resources, and while I appreciate I'm not to your taste, I'm confident you can find content that suits you better.
