Finally a video that actually explained the reason where the transducer is paced 4th ICS
Isn't that transducer upside down?
I just watched another video where the transducer and blood syringe were turned the other way...
Exactly!! Normally the transducer connector, where you plug in the art line monitor cable to the transducer itself, is hanging down! That's how I have always done it. He has the entire system upside down. I am so glad someone said that!
and what about removing the air from the bag of fluids before priming - air embolus?
ashley lovelace as well as flushing out all the air through all caps/ensuring open caps are removed
Thank God we never let you guys touch our vents!
appears that every way you turn the stopcock - you call it "off". Does that mean it doesn't work? lol
if you did not close the switch proximal to pt. before pull out your adapter, there will be blood pumping out
Thank you for this overview. :)
Thanks for the video!
Thanks homie!
Thank you...😄
Thanks!
Thank you ~!
You did not clean the port before accessing it.
no one uses sterile technique in videos like in real life.
It should be heparinized saline.
ancientcityinker in the unit we use normal saline but do get heparin from patients getting out of the cath lab and IR
