why do I always watch these videos after I get home from class. Now I want to go back and try this, but nooooooooo I have to wait 40 hours until my next class.
To solve that I find a video I like save it and an alarm 1 hour before class. Watch it then.
Try then.
I generally love watching videos before class, but problem is I get all pumped and think it is going to be easy, but it ends up being hard in rolling, so I usually find stuff I like, drill it first, then try it in rolling :).
Watch them when your at class
That's why they also say...the learning never ends. Oss...
nice detail about the hamstring and abductors, i was doing leg swings and other exercises to strengthen the abductors JUST for this move... saved me some time and energy lol
What exactly ?
I am watching without sound now :/
The explanation of the pendulum of the leg is huge for me. We learned this recently but the Professor did not explain why we kicked the leg. For some reason I was thinking it was for momentum but your explanation that it is to move the person forward makes everything else make more sense. Thank you.
Amazing tuition throughout your whole youtube series.
It's very much appreciated.
Thanks for sharing.
Excellent breakdown
Your instructions are easy to learn! Thanks mr guiles!
I love this sweep! I've been having success with it in the gi. I came here because I was having trouble blocking their arm/ability to post in nogi, and I wasn't disappointed. Simply grip at the elbow! Also wanna try getting their arm to the mat so I can try that arm bar.
Beautiful stuff...thanks for sharing.
Peace and love
Sweet! definitely trying this next class!
I love these! Thanks Lachie!
An excellent and beautiful looking combination 👍

Ty
good bro
Hey I have a training partner who tends to stop this sweep by basing out with his left arm (executing sweep to the same side as shown in this video); how do I counter this? In no gi, I can't control the left arm and hook the opponent's leg.
If he is basing with the non trapped arm is he reaching it all the way to the far side? If so there might be an opportunity to take the back from there
I am Mr. X watch tri star gyms pendulum sweep with arm bar combo he shows you how to arm bar the arm if he posts with the non trapped arm firas zahabi has some of the best jiu jitsu
That is a huge game changer for me! Thanks bro I appreciate it!
Whats the difference between this and the flower sweep?
Not a thing bro
I always have an issue with sweeps from guard (in a white belt). I move my legs, breaking guard and they get out. And their arm movement prevents good grips.
so I'm curious, it's been two years. Did you solve this problem? thank you.
Prety good, pendulum is my favorite sweep but my armbar is not very good.
Pandulum Sweep in NoGi is hard to hit.
Who in the truck gave this a thumbs down?
