In that case attach his sponsorship letter along with invitation letter that has details of place you'll be staying at. Also you will have to attach his bank statement. You could also show why you would come back after a month visit (e.g. kids studies, parents care etc).

Both the cases, Schengen visa would be required. Country where you're staying the maximum night, you will have to apply in that embassy. In case of same nights in two countries, the country where you will visit first is where you will apply for Schengen visa!

You would have apply in Italy embassy as you're spending maximum nights in Italy. Port of entry in this case doesn't matter. If you were spending equal nights in Italy and Austria then you would apply through Austria as your port of entry is Austria!

Though not mandatory to attach internal transport proof, if you attach it, it brings more credibility! We attach this in our Schengen visa application. Every member will have their own Schengen visa application. In kids cover letter, parents details will be mentioned along with mention of their travel cost being borne by parents!

By France visa you are referring to Schengen visa that you got from France embassy? With valid Schengen visa, you can travel to any of the Schengen countries including Greece!
Actually we are planning to visit Swiss in December (3 members) for tourism. Among 3 , two of them did not file ITR due to salary constraints.. So in this case apart from ITR which document they need to suffice? Also for salaried employees, do we need to show funds or else just salary pay slips are enough?
Bank statement is required for all type of Schengen visa application. So in your case also it's needed ( should be sealed & signed by bank). Though ITR is a required document, in case it's not there, do mention in cover letter for the reason. Rest Salary slip, HR letter & bank statement should suffice. Hope this helps!

Yes, you will have to submit individual Schengen visa application for each family member. You will be able to add members in the same VFS account but under that every member will have to fill their individual Schengen visa form. Also, every member will have to give their set of documents (cover letter, travel itinerary, flight, stay proof etc )

If parents are retired then they don't have to submit ITR. They need to mention in the cover letter about this and add bank statement to show that they have enough funds to travel to Europe. Submit flight details from India to the country and then to the Schengen and back to India. If they already have visa for that country then submit copy of that as well.

If you don't see the slots then possible that it's not available due to rush. You could try at centre of other cities like Chennai or change your itinerary while applying to some other Schengen country for which you're getting slots.

Ideally for her holding Schengen visa option wouldn't be applicable. While submitting the documents at VFS centre, do mention this for your wife's application and they should be able to make changes (if required)!

Your immigration would happen in Germany if that's the first port of entry. However since your destination is Sweden & nearby countries with equal night stays, you can apply at Sweden Embassy for Schengen visa.

Hi @rollingfeertales ..: I am going via travel agent but we only receive the hotel confirmation and flight tickets for now since my travel date is of Dec 2024… My visa date is on 12th July… so confirmed flight tickets and confirmed hotel reservation will suffice or do we need to provide train tickets??? For Schengen visa, Flight & hotel bookings would be sufficient. Train tickets usually are refundable so if you're taking train for internal transfers then try to include them! Yes, it would be good to give copy of your Australia visa along with your Schengen visa application!

If you're earning, ideally you should have ITR, else submit proof of tax deductions (mentioned in salary slips or TDS). Schengen visa, does require this as one of the documents. For sponsorship in Schengen visa, you will have to submit a letter from the person (should be signed) and submit his/her financial proof.

Ideally if you could have the GST of your business rhen nothing like it. Else show your income inflow from the line items! Remaining bank statement etc would be good enough for financial proof! Usually Iceland, Switzerland are good countries with low rejection!

For some Schengen countries, they have process to first fill the Schengen visa form online and pay the Schengen Visa fee there itself. At VFS, you will have to pay VFS agency cost. But in some countries, Visa fee & VFS fees needs to be paid at VFS. It changes time to time!

If you've funds then best to include your own bank statement or FD/MF etc. If you can't check if your immediate relative (parents/siblings) can sponsor your trip. You will have to apply for work visa. Usually your company would provide assistance in the process. But in general, you will have to submit offer letter and invitation letter from the company in Sweden along with other documents.

In this case, you will have to show by some mean to the embassy folks that you have reasonable reason to come back to India & not look for employment in Europe. ITR can be filed for past years else if you have form 16, that can be included.
Salary was credited 5 days before the visa appointment which is enough for the trip. But before that my bank balance was 25000. Most of my bank savings are in FDs. Please guide in this situation.
For Schengen visa, along with Bank statement, you could also include savings like FD, MF documents to show enough balance. If you have already included them, then no worries!

In that case you will have to attach your business documents (registration, GST etc). Also mention that you've moved to your business in your cover letter with attachment of last salary slips!

You would have apply in Italy embassy as you're spending maximum nights in Italy. Port of entry in this case doesn't matter. If you were spending equal nights in Italy and Austria then you would apply through Austria as your port of entry is Austria!

Though not mandatory to attach internal transport proof, if you attach it, it brings more credibility! We attach this in our Schengen visa application.
Every member will have their own Schengen visa application. In kids cover letter, parents details will be mentioned along with mention of their travel cost being borne by parents!

Yes ITR is one of the required documents. If you don't have one, then do attach Form16.

Bank statement is required for all type of Schengen visa application. So in your case also it's needed ( should be sealed & signed by bank).

I havs 2 accounts one is salary account and In salary account I only keep my monthly expenditure. Rest I transfer to other account. So which account's bank statement to show while applying for visa.

If parents are retired then they don't have to submit ITR. They need to mention in the cover letter about this and add bank statement to show that they have enough funds to travel to Europe.
Submit flight details from India to the country and then to the Schengen and back to India. If they already have visa for that country then submit copy of that as well.

For Schengen visa, NOC's Hard copy is required which is printed on company's letterhead.

If you don't see the slots then possible that it's not available due to rush. You could try at centre of other cities like Chennai or change your itinerary while applying to some other Schengen country for which you're getting slots.

Ideally for her holding Schengen visa option wouldn't be applicable. While submitting the documents at VFS centre, do mention this for your wife's application and they should be able to make changes (if required)!

Your immigration would happen in Germany if that's the first port of entry. However since your destination is Sweden & nearby countries with equal night stays, you can apply at Sweden Embassy for Schengen visa.

I don't think you can apply for a long or short Schengen visa! Basis your travel history they either give you short one or long one Schengen visa. No separate process for the same.

For Schengen visa, Flight & hotel bookings would be sufficient. Train tickets usually are refundable so if you're taking train for internal transfers then try to include them!

For sponsorship in Schengen visa, you will have to submit a letter from the person (should be signed) and submit his/her financial proof.

Ideally if you could have the GST of your business rhen nothing like it. Else show your income inflow from the line items! Remaining bank statement etc would be good enough for financial proof!
Usually Iceland, Switzerland are good countries with low rejection!

visa fee has to be paid to vfs even in case of france, how can you say that it can be paid online?
For some Schengen countries, they have process to first fill the Schengen visa form online and pay the Schengen Visa fee there itself. At VFS, you will have to pay VFS agency cost. But in some countries, Visa fee & VFS fees needs to be paid at VFS. It changes time to time!

Ideally they should be able to provide NOC ( we can share the format to be printed on your company letterhead - do check description for details). Else, if that doesn't work, then do attach signed & sealed copy of your email confirmation.

It might be tricky in that case. If you have next contractual work already with you then you can attach that while applying for Schengen visa. This will show that you would come back to India and not stay there looking for job.

If you've funds then best to include your own bank statement or FD/MF etc. If you can't check if your immediate relative (parents/siblings) can sponsor your trip. You will have to attach sponsorship letter along with their bank statement. Friend's sponsorship should be the last resort and should be avoided.

For Schengen visa, accommodation proof is required document. You could make refundable hotel bookings from booking.com etc and include it in your Schengen visa application.

You will have to apply for work visa. Usually your company would provide assistance in the process. But in general, you will have to submit offer letter and invitation letter from the company in Sweden along with other documents.
Hi I'm planning to visit Italy and Switzerland. Currently I'm woking as a contractual employee in a central government firm. It is clear that i don't get NOC from there and also I'm planning to resign before going to Europe. I have filled ITR for this (24-25)financial year only. It is mandatory to fill ITR for 3 FY(it is possible to fill Previous years ITRs by paying some fee right?) .
And I'm capable to show the 3-5 L in bank account... Plz give a reply. Thanks😊
In this case, you will have to show by some mean to the embassy folks that you have reasonable reason to come back to India & not look for employment in Europe.
ITR can be filed for past years else if you have form 16, that can be included.

Salary was credited 5 days before the visa appointment which is enough for the trip. But before that my bank balance was 25000.
Most of my bank savings are in FDs. Please guide in this situation.
For Schengen visa, along with Bank statement, you could also include savings like FD, MF documents to show enough balance. If you have already included them, then no worries!

Umm.. Is this the only thing that you can show as financial documents? FD, PPF or MF etc if you have then can attach that.
