PhaseVI What's the difference between standard VS deluxe album and does it tell the same story or different story and also does album sequencing and song structure change depending on standard album or deluxe edition album change example one direction 4 has 12 tracks and it's standard and the duration is about
43:33 but the deluxe edition is about
57:08 and it has about 16 tracks but my music I question is does a standard vs deluxe edition of an album does tell the same story or different story and does the album sequencing aka song order aka album structure change?

I always looked at it like something to give your core fan base and make extra money. All the songs released on the original album, those streams go into the Deluxe album thus making it appear as though their deluxe album did so much better. Smokescreen vibes to me because I don’t think the story changes it’s just extra songs. Some artist may take it seriously though.

If a distribution company reaches out to distribute a single, when does it make sense?
