I love the message of Sir Baudelaire being the final past self he kills off. Not only being his most recent album, but the fact that he is also the closest to present day Tyler. having attributes and a bit of personality from the other Tyler's. Like Goblins anger and when he continues Wolf's verse like he already knows what he's gonna say.

I think this song wants to say that you can have a lot of different perspectives on things and not necessarily "be" any one of them. Sometimes you even disagree with yourself a day later, or a year later, when you think about it more or when you are in a different mood. Tyler has changed a lot in a permanent way, but who he used to be and who he is today are just different versions of himself that never really go away and never really "take over" for good.
