Welcome aboard! Oh for such fine video equipment (and the cash) in the 1960s! But memories are priceless, nonetheless. Thank you for your interest! ~ JMW.

Ron, I've made a short film 'Closed Cotswold Railways' which you will find on my channel. I hope that you find it interesting and that I haven't mixed up the tunnel mouths!

@@johnmwarr Just watched it John, you're getting good at this! Amazing how the railway has changed. The landowner? has taken over the Chedworth tunnel approach now and prevents access. I don't know if they bought the rights or just took it over, shame. Ron

Yes Ron, I walked through the tunnel on a Sunday afternoon and it was dripping wet , even then, but relatively short and straight!.
Unfortunately, BR property organisation was not very efficient at managing redundant assets and those with an eye to business exploited squatter's rights I'm sure. Poor value for the tax payer!
When I was a young lad, during the war, we lived within sight of Andoversford and I recall that the junction was protected by barrage balloons. On one occasion my Dad came home unexpectedly having stepped off a troop train at the junction, using the benefit of a 48 hour pass. He was probably based at Hereford then so had an interesting ride back via Gloucester!
If you have watched the MSWJR images and downloaded what you need I will delete the film. By all means incorporate it in your own little piece if you wish. Just let me know when you have all that you need. ~ Happy Days, JMW
