With all the busyness around Christmas, showing a house, homeschooling, making meals from scratch, ongoing sourdough, producing videos and blogs, animals to care for, eight children to nurture, I don't know how you do it, Lisa. I wish you every success with your next chapter. I feel overwhelmed thinking about how hectic your days must be. Please be kind to yourself.
She has family support and her husband doesn't work. It's easier to homeschool when the husband doesn't work a traditional job and is able to assist the mother everyday.
Wait. Her husband doesn't work? I've been subscribed for a while but guess I never got that... must be outta the loop here🙄. Looks to me like this UA-camr, Lisa, (who I *HUGELY* admire!)) is the breadwinner, bread & video maker, while Daddy-o is the teacher, kid and lawn caretaker. Sooo.. just wondering if the husband really doesn't have a conventional job now, how did that happen 🤔@@keyang8220
I remember when you lived on Boone. I discovered your channel just as you were getting ready to move to your farm. I remember following most of your renovations. I'm sure it has to have been a difficult decision to move after all the love you put into this home. You looked so sad as you were giving us the final tour. I look forward to following you on this next adventure.
Awe dearest Lisa I could see the bittersweet feeling in your face as soon as I clicked on. We will miss seeing all the beauty you immersed into the farmhouse. The new owners will be so very blessed. Excited to see your family’s new journey.
"We" so do! Don't we? So many times I found myself saying "yes, I remember that.... Yes I remember what it was like before.... Yes I remember the wedding in the barn... Yes I remember when you decided to tile that... yes I remember when you first walked up the drive... Yes I remember when you said you were moving from Boone street and thinking "How could you be leaving???? Dream big Lisa and Luke. We are all sad to see you packing up and moving on. But we look forward to hearing about your new dreams and seeing you bring them to life for your beautiful family
You were such a blessing to me.. I met my husband at 37at church..we married after 3 months of dating .We had are son when I was 38 . Having worked all my life, God was faithful in not only His timing for meeting my husband.. the Lord provided this season of motherhokd for me to be able to be a full time mom and home maker. I spent so much time learning how to be a home maker with you. I went from being a military contractor living over seas to trying my hand at fermented foods and organizing my daily cleaning schedules with you. I learned that being home was not something to get through to get back to work.. I fell!!! In love!! With being a mother and being home.. I fell in love with making are house a home. Thankyou Thankyou.. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord poor His spirit upon you and your marriage and your whole family
My Nana used to say that sometimes you have to let go of something really good to get something even better. She taught me that life is meant to be fluid. You move and grow with different seasons of life. Best of luck in this new season. May you have the best time with the new house, making it your home.
Bless your heart Lisa, I really appreciate all your hard work Baking, taking care of the beautiful children you and your husband have. Your so artistic and a wonderful at all you do..Bless your family and good luck in your new home..❤
As you were speaking and showing us your beautiful home, I said to myself, “I remember you sewing that! I remember when you made your garden and arbor! I remember when you put up the gingerbread details to match your porch!” Like I had anything to do with it at all.🤦🏻♀️ Thousands of hours you have put into this farm to make it your home. But at sixty-two, I admire you both for working toward your future! Whoever buys this home has some mighty big shoes to fill! Blessings on you and your sweet family! So excited to see the next chapter! Thank you for allowing us to watch!
You are leaving behind a genuinely positive aura that permeates every inch of that lovely home! Can you imagine how much lovelier it is for the new owners to be welcomed by that rather than a cold home full of negative energy? I pray that God continues to bless your beautiful family in the years ahead in your new home full of new adventures. Merry Christmas to all of you and to all the followers of the same yoke. God bless.
It’s all bittersweet when you move. My husband passed in 2016, I finally sold the house this past June. Making the initial decision to sell was hard, but I must say I really have not looked back with regrets since then. Enjoy the process, we’re always making new memories!❤
I am soooo sad that you're leaving this house...but also SO excited to see all of the future decorating and building, and all the things! What a blessing to be able to do what you're doing...enjoy it all! ❤
I wondered after all the love and beauty you have put into your home how you could leave it. But I realize the same faith that has enabled you to accomplish so much thus far, is the same power that impels you forward to a new life. What an inspiration you are! A favorite quote, “Faith is for the future!”
You can’t receive until you let go. You are doing this so well by allowing yourself to be sad and excited at the same time. Can’t wait for the next chapter. Hugging you and your family in my prayers as you adjust to your next steps.
My dad was military and we moved so many times in my young life. Always sad to say goodbye to familiar things but also fun to see new things and build new memories. I am 66 now and raised my boys in the same house with the school just down the street. So I hope your family enjoys building new memories to entwine with this home’s memories. As long as the family is there the love will be too. ❤
Thank you for the lovely tour - I hope the house sells quickly so you can move on without being torn by your many memories of renovations to this house.
Just when I thought I couldn't love and admire you more, you have broken my heart in the most bittersweet way Lisa. May God bless the new family in your old beautiful home that you and Luke turned into a little haven for your beautiful babies. Can't wait to see you all get stuck into your next adventure!! Blessings from Ireland 🙏🇮🇪💕
Thank you for sharing a final last tour with us. I will miss your farmhouse! May the Lord bless you on your new adventures...living in a rental in town while your new farmhouse is being built on your country property!
Joining your sentimental feeling, even though it is not my house. I have joined all your beautiful video and both of children in this home. Looking forward to seeing your temporary in town home and walking through the building of your new/old house. Consider you a friend. Love from Macon, Georgia thanks for taking us along.
Lisa, this would be the perfect video tour to share with any potential buyers so they can see the love, and the hard work you & Luke have put into it… as well as why your home is such a unique and fantastic place to raise a family… Blessings to you and your family on your new adventure; I have no doubt your new home and property will be just as informative and amazing as this one and the original Farmhouse on Boone! I highly recommend your cookbook even though I’ve enjoyed all your free downloads; they don’t capture the essence of who you are until you open that amazing compilation with pictures in your cookbook! You should’ve charged more, but I’m glad you didn’t! 🥰♥️🙏🥳🏠
I used to feel the same way about December through April-the “ugly months,” as you called them. But over time, I decided to embrace all seasons and started romanticizing even the less glamorous ones. Now, they’ve actually become my favorite months! There’s a sense of spaciousness in the bare landscapes, and I love how much more you can see and appreciate. Plus, the idea that nature rests during this time is such a beautiful reminder for us to slow down and recharge, too. ❄️🌷🌻🍁💕
The family that buys this beautiful farmhouse can enjoy all the love and care you put into your renovations. I will miss seeing this home, but know your new build will have all the special “new old features “ you love here.
Oh Lisa , I hear your sadness and it is bitter sweet but you will make more memories and fulfill your dreams in your another home and I will be there to watch the excitement. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a very exciting 2025. 🎄🙏🏻🇬🇧
Thank you for sharing this last look. It is so nostolgic, and amazing to look over all you have done. I still miss the house we raised our boys in...a small beach house, but am thankful for the years we spent there. I know you will make each place home, you are such a good homemaker.
😭 I’m not ready! Excited to see what you do next but I left a similar home 5 years ago after completely rebuilding it from just a shell and this makes me so sentimental.
You do put so much love into everything you do so I have enjoyed beyond words watching your progress over the years. When you talked last week about moving it brought tears to my eyes. I know you are preparing for a new home and it will be beautiful because that’s who you are. God bless you and your family.
Lisa, you and Luke have done a remarkable job transforming this house into a beautiful home in 6 (I think) short years. No matter where you go I’m certain that you will make your home beautiful and functional for your family. You will create new systems and new routines in an environment that reflects who you are. New spaces are waiting for your vision and special touches. Best wishes in your new home(s)!
😢I am sad we won’t see that beautiful home anymore but I am excited to see what your future holds! Onward Bass Family, time stands still for no one, enjoy this journey!
Moving is hard! My husband and I started in a singlewide from the 1960s, and we were so excited when we bought a 4-bedroom 2-story earlier this year, but boy did we both cry when we moved out of our cozy little trailer. Thankfully, the excitement always makes it easier to adjust. 💙
Aww...I'm teary-eyed. I discovered your channel a little over a year ago, and instantly loved your farmhouse. I'm sure you'll make what ever home you live in just as beautiful. I'm looking forward to sharing in your journey. 😊
I grew up in a farmhouse on a MT cattle ranch/farm. My Mom also grew up there also. Now we own that house with a small portion, 80 acres, of the ranch. Such a joy to refinish wood floors and fix it up. My oldest son rents the house from us. Two other siblings live with him. Thanks for the lovely tour, Susan mom to 11
I am so teary-eyed as you take us on this final home tour. I have been where you are now and it was so very difficult to leave my dream home, but life brings many changes in different seasons of our lives. I have enjoyed every episode you shared in his house and wish you the best of luck in your new adventure. I will be watching!!!
I felt like I was going to cry. I can feel the sadness in her voice, the sadness I see in her expression, and her eyes. I've followed her the first time when she showed the video of her moving to this home. I will miss this beautiful home and I know I will fall in love with it, as I have this home!❤
Exactly!! And with all that she has going on right now, I'm sure she has to be physically exhausted, hence the heightened emotions. (I know when I'm super tired, I am emotional) So many memories they made in this house, she gave birth to some of her children in this house, all the hard work... blood, sweat, and tears went into this home, BUT I'm sure her new farmhouse will be just as charming, and we'll all fall in love with it too!! Blessings to you and yours! ❤
I have rewatched your older videos so I could have the memories of your beautiful home. I look forward to the future with you and your beautiful family. Love and blessings.
How wonderful that you have recorded your journey from farmhouse on Boone Street to this farmhouse and onward to new beginnings. Thank you for inviting us along. An emotional time I’m sure.
Thank you so much for the tour. You and your husband have done an amazing job with this home. You are a great team. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for your family.
All the feels! We just sold our home in august, and we are building on the adjacent land that we still own and I have cried so many times seeing other people in our home. My husband built that home, our kids hand prints are in the cement, some of my babies were born in that home. So sad, even when there are exciting things ahead!❤
I’m tearing up with you Lisa ! I’m divorced and was not able to bear children and I have watched your videos for years to live vicariously through you! I’m older now and onto my next journey but will check in on your new place with a smile in my heart.
This video is just so beautiful and so is this entire place. It has just so so much love and passion poured into it. It’s been so fun to feel like we’ve all been along for the ride with you from the very beginning and I can’t wait for that to continue in your new home!
You did a wonderful job on this property, so many lovely moments. I’ve really enjoyed every single video and will absolutely continue to watch Farmhouse on Boone.
Whomever buys your home will be blessed and feel the love that comes with the home! Looking forward to seeing your new journey! Ty for sharing the tour! I remember when… as you worked to make it so beautiful and welcoming!
I’m so deeply excited for you and your family. Three years after leaving our old farm and I STILL get sad, however I know we are building beautiful memories at our new farm and I know you will too.
I will miss the farmhouse too Lisa but I so look forward to seeing the new house and all that you will do to make it a home! One chapter closes and another opens! ❤
This brought tears to me. As I feel your emotions. We are moving into a 1946 farmhouse leaving the house that we lived in for 27 years. It's so bittersweet, but many adventures ahead. Blessings to you during this transition.
Like you, I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into renovating an old farmhouse in GA and later built a new one, keeping the best features. Merry Christmas and wishing you a wonderful new year! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
😭 I'm crying. I fell in love with this house. I remember the first video you shared of this house and all the wonderful projects. I know your next home is going to be different, but it will be just as special. Thank you for bringing us along on the journey, Lisa.
I’m going to miss that beautiful farm. All that you and Luke put in to it to make it a magical place for your children to grow and make so many beautiful memories for your family. Can’t wait to see the new place. ❤
Ohh my goodness!!♡♡♡♡ What a beautiful place you made your home in such a short span of time! As a young wife and hopeful mama in the waiting, you have been such an encouragement to my soul!! You create such a life ✨️ that I hope to one day curate for my family! Blessing on you Lisa! Thank you for all you share of your lives with us! ....at the Farmer's Market that I sell my sourdough. I'm always pointing new sourdough makers to your channel to also learn the skill from you!♡
How cool that you have a Norwegian wood stove 😀 Jøtul is a very solid, old company, founded in 1853. My parents had a very similar one in my childhood home
What a wonderful video keepsake, for all your fond memories, of such a lovely home and property. I will be nice you have this to show your kids through the years as they grow, to see where they started life and spent so many great times. I remember so many of the projects as they were presented. I'm glad you'll be keeping the majority of your furniture, you have some very lovely pieces. It doesn't seem there would be any issue of your property not selling, it's such a beautiful home. I understand it will be missed, but you you've learned so much from this home that you'll be able to incorporate in your new home with lots of improvements to suit your "now" needs. I'm very happy for you guys and look forward to the adventure!
I LOVE the beds not being against the walls!! If you have the space, why not! I also feel like the bed directly against the window makes it harder to access. Much easier to air out the room just walking straight to it!
I must admit I’m going to miss this beautiful homestead that you n Luke have made. Like you said, this next change in your lives is a new chapter that will carry your family on. I’ve learn from past experiences that nothing stays the same. Looking forward to that new chapter n may God be with you all to see you through it. Sending many hugs n 🙏’s. ♥️♥️🥰🥰👍🌟🌟🌟
The beds away from the walls where there are windows make very good sense. When you live in a cold climate, mildew can tend to be a problem on condensing windows, so your keeping the beds away from the windows makes for much better airflow and moisture control.
Something that has helped us when we leave a house with so many memories is to walk through it and around it and pray for the next family to live there. We also do that with the new place, praying for God to protect us and bless us in this new space, to ward off any evil spirits, but there's something beautiful about praying for the next family where you feel like you can truly let it go and be happy for them. ♥️🙏
You say winter is ugly, but winter has its own beauty. While there is no green or flowers, there is the structure of trees visible with their branches. The starkness of trees, bushes, dead grasses, and dead leaves blowing around show a time of natural rest. We are reminded that everything is pausing so that next spring and summer will burst with renewed life.
I love winter ! Because it is a time to pull inside, get warm and cozy, cocoon away from the world. Rest. Rebuild. And I don't like the heat for my physical issues. You do look a bit sad to me as well. I'll have to look back and see if videos still exist for the original farmhouse on Boone. I remember you moving from there to here. I'm so glad you will be building your dream house and hopefully never move again until you're old and want a condo !!! 😅 I'm sure you'll never want a condo just kidding. 😜. But I gotta tell you that you turn ordinary into special extraordinary . You create a warm nurturing environment to raise a family so the world is better for you having been there. ❤
@jenncalvert5241 This reminds me of when my dad died and mum couldn't afford to keep our big house on not with 5 small children. The reason it reminds me of that time we had a boisterous happy family and the Christmas dad died everything went silent and quiet. It's strange how things can change in an instant. I'm sure they will be happy with their new place, both of them are hard workers and their children are following suit. They deserve many blessings ❤️
The love and beauty you left there will grace the new owners. You and your family created a beautiful and welcoming home. The memories will bless you all -for always. May the wind be at your back for new adventures.❤️
Your home is beautiful! It’s amazing to me how much you accomplished on your property with the busyness of a growing family! I bet it will sell quickly! 😊
We have loved following you at this house so much and will continue to enjoy following you. Thanks for being an inspiration to all of us and sharing your heart. What a beautiful chapter you are closing!!
Just an idea …. Find pictures that show the beautiful season views outside each window. Just tape a picture in the corner of each window so the buyers can see it is all its glory.
Getting emotional just listening to you go through all of your memories made here in this lovely home you’ve created ❤ excited to be here for the next chapter
You are so strong to leave such a lovely place. I cried as you gave us a beautiful tour. Wishing you many blessings and hours of happiness in your new home. ❤️
It's a bittersweet moment leaving the beautiful farmhouse you and your husband did a lot of beautiful work on. I look forward to seeing your new home and what you will do to make it as comfortable and cozy as possible. I will miss watching you work in the farmhouse and love watching your videos, I learned so much from you. Thank you for sharing! God bless and take care!
❤I would have loved to make a video when we sold our last home. 20 years ago I made a photo album and written descriptions of the home and property for tours. The buyers kept it along with the appliance warranties, framed survey and a few antiques that came with the home. Great video tour! 😊
You’re so courageous Lisa .. We love the videos that you have welcomed us all into . Much love and blessings . So excited for you all to move into your new home !😊❤❤
So exciting even though bittersweet. When you see the goodness of God brining you to a place you can buy a temp home while building … huge blessing and absolutely brilliant money management. What memories your children will have on a larger property and how blessed someone will be who buys your home that had such a loving investment of all the improvements you completed. New memories are on the way. So excited for you and your family.
We have many Mennonite families in our area. One family has purchased old barns and had them moved here and then re built just as it was. They are beautiful and one was made into a restaurant in our town. Just a thought. We also have friends who, the husband, makes old home plans for new houses. I also remember Paige sharing a guy who does that. Excited to see what your future holds. ❤
What a beautiful home you created. The new owners will cherish it like you did. I know your next home will be just as beautiful and a reflection of your wonderful family. I pray for continued blessings for your family
I feel a little silly cause I want to cry. I just found you a few weeks ago but spent hours watching you cooking ,decorating ,sewing and everything else every day until I feel like I know you. I know the greatest happiness will be yours as it is well deserved.I'm looking forward to seeing the new place so please keep us posted.
I am so excited to follow you on your new adventure. After leaving our home in the states and moving abroad following Gods calling, I understand leaving a home you have built so many memories in. Good bless you in this new chapter.
Thank you for sharing the farmhouse final tour with us Lisa! I am excited to see your new “temporary” place and then your new farmhouse! I get so much inspiration from you! 😊😘
I know you mentioned how stark it all is in winter, but there’s beauty in the stark-it’s like a sabbath for the earth. It rests so that it is rejuvenated to burst in the spring. At least that is how I look at it.
Well, I watched this a few hours ago, so many feelings running through my head. Strange as it seems, I feel like you are a real life close friend. I could see the emotions and sadness as you shared your beautiful home with us. I have to say I’m genuinely going to miss this old treasure you’ve created. You are so very wise. I pray everything goes smoothly with the new home and that your temporary home will work well for you. Can’t wait to see both. Will be praying for your family as you go through this huge journey!
That was so nice. It’s hard to leave some homes. But you will move on well and continue your healthy and homey lifestyle. What a beautiful family. They will never forget this home. I so enjoyed watching you curate antique furniture, rugs and kitchen ware. Praying for a lovely home to come with abundant blessings on all of you.
I agree! Don’t push the beds against the wall and I don’t place the bed heads in front of windows. If you must you must but making the bed is a hassle and it just doesn’t have a great look. That’s just me. You have done a beautiful job with the home.
I so wish I lived there… I’d buy your property and all your furnishings in a heartbeat!! You’ve made it so beautiful and full of love. Blessings to you!!

Awe sweet lady the sadness in your eyes showing your beautiful farmhouse breaks my heart new adventures are exciting but can be hard big hugs 💕🫶
I'm going to miss all the things about the farmhouse too Lisa. Thanks for sharing the last walk through with us. See you soon on the new place.
Thank you!
Thanks for the lovely tour, Susan mom to 11
Wow! That's awesome!!
love that...thanks for sharing!
Same. Same. Same.
Exactly!! And with all that she has going on right now, I'm sure she has to be physically exhausted, hence the heightened emotions. (I know when I'm super tired, I am emotional)
So many memories they made in this house, she gave birth to some of her children in this house, all the hard work... blood, sweat, and tears went into this home, BUT I'm sure her new farmhouse will be just as charming, and we'll all fall in love with it too!!
Blessings to you and yours! ❤
This house is beautiful ! You are so talented ! Love the fact that you don't have too much( stuff ) in the rooms it looks classy, not overly done
Your home is beautiful! I love the simplicity, functionality, beauty & the “welcome” vibe you get.
I am here for Farmhouse on Boone 3.0 and 4.0! I’d love to see what you do in your new ‘town’ home for Christmas, no matter how late.
The house is absolutely beautiful. I look forward to seeing y'all into the
next adventure!
I appreciate your kind words!
Thank you! It's been a sweet journey, and I can't wait to share the next one.
Thanks so much and Merry Christmas!
It's a great stove!
♥️♥️🥰🥰👍🌟🌟🌟
Beautiful home!! I'll definitely continue to enjoy watching your families journey ahead! God Bless you all!
Yes, winter is a time to get inside and do projects with care, sewing, knitting, painting, etc, and a time of rest and of preparing for the spring.
I love this so much! Made me tear up.
@janiceingle550 winter isn't really ugly we just need to take a different perspective on it, with the knowledge, spring is on its way.
Whomever ends up with your home is going to love it! ❤ Can’t wait to see how you build your “new, old home!”
I am feeling very sentimental watching this!!! It truly is a lovely home❤
Same ❤😂🎉😊
It's a bittersweet moment leaving the beautiful farmhouse you and your husband did a lot of beautiful work on. I look forward to seeing your new home and what you will do to make it as comfortable and cozy as possible. I will miss watching you work in the farmhouse and love watching your videos, I learned so much from you. Thank you for sharing! God bless and take care!
So glad you’ve enjoyed watching our journey!
❤I would have loved to make a video when we sold our last home. 20 years ago I made a photo album and written descriptions of the home and property for tours. The buyers kept it along with the appliance warranties, framed survey and a few antiques that came with the home. Great video tour! 😊
Love your beautiful home. I know it must be hard leaving it. Many of Gods blessings on you in your new home ! A new chapter in your life.
We’re really looking forward to what’s to come!
You’re so courageous Lisa .. We love the videos that you have welcomed us all into . Much love and blessings . So excited for you all to move into your new home !😊❤❤
Her eyes are so puffy it’s made me want to cry too. You’re in my prayers Lisa, this too will pass lots of blessings to come my dear! Love you so much
So exciting even though bittersweet.
Your house is amazing. I don’t have an actual farmhouse but it’s decorated as one. I pray you are all very happy in the new home.😊
What a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us. I’m sure your new build will be breathtaking!!
Always loved this house, but so excited for your new adventures. Blessings to all of you! 💙💙💙
Such a beautiful house and such wonderful memories! I started watching your channel at this house. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks for watching!
Kind of sad. But also think of all the new memories you will make. You have a knack for making wherever you live a home for your family.
We will all miss your beautiful farmhouse, but I have no doubt in my mind that you will make your new home just as gorgeous!
Really beautiful home, you can tell the love you’ve poured into it! 💕
Someone is going to be very lucky to find a gem like that. Beautiful property 👌 😊🎉❤
I know you mentioned how stark it all is in winter, but there’s beauty in the stark-it’s like a sabbath for the earth. It rests so that it is rejuvenated to burst in the spring. At least that is how I look at it.
What a beautiful sentiment, very aptly put
Well, I watched this a few hours ago, so many feelings running through my head. Strange as it seems, I feel like you are a real life close friend. I could see the emotions and sadness as you shared your beautiful home with us. I have to say I’m genuinely going to miss this old treasure you’ve created. You are so very wise. I pray everything goes smoothly with the new home and that your temporary home will work well for you. Can’t wait to see both. Will be praying for your family as you go through this huge journey!
that bathroom/laundry is genius! My daughter had 4 children and she could have used that! so excited to see whats next!
