With all the busyness around Christmas, showing a house, homeschooling, making meals from scratch, ongoing sourdough, producing videos and blogs, animals to care for, eight children to nurture, I don't know how you do it, Lisa. I wish you every success with your next chapter. I feel overwhelmed thinking about how hectic your days must be. Please be kind to yourself.
Oh Lisa , I hear your sadness and it is bitter sweet but you will make more memories and fulfill your dreams in your another home and I will be there to watch the excitement. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a very exciting 2025. 🎄🙏🏻🇬🇧
You do put so much love into everything you do so I have enjoyed beyond words watching your progress over the years. When you talked last week about moving it brought tears to my eyes. I know you are preparing for a new home and it will be beautiful because that’s who you are. God bless you and your family.
Awe dearest Lisa I could see the bittersweet feeling in your face as soon as I clicked on. We will miss seeing all the beauty you immersed into the farmhouse. The new owners will be so very blessed. Excited to see your family’s new journey.
I am soooo sad that you're leaving this house...but also SO excited to see all of the future decorating and building, and all the things! What a blessing to be able to do what you're doing...enjoy it all! ❤
Just when I thought I couldn't love and admire you more, you have broken my heart in the most bittersweet way Lisa. May God bless the new family in your old beautiful home that you and Luke turned into a little haven for your beautiful babies. Can't wait to see you all get stuck into your next adventure!! Blessings from Ireland 🙏🇮🇪💕
I felt like I was going to cry. I can feel the sadness in her voice, the sadness I see in her expression, and her eyes. I've followed her the first time when she showed the video of her moving to this home. I will miss this beautiful home and I know I will fall in love with it, as I have this home!❤
Awe. So emotional. So beautiful! Would be a cool B&B and/or restaurant. Thanks for the tour. Looking very much forward to all you will create in the future. God bless your family and endeavors 😊
Thank you for sharing a final last tour with us. I will miss your farmhouse! May the Lord bless you on your new adventures...living in a rental in town while your new farmhouse is being built on your country property!
Thank you for the lovely tour - I hope the house sells quickly so you can move on without being torn by your many memories of renovations to this house.
I’m in Missouri and I would have loved to put in a bid on the house. It is exactly what we want. I wish you years of happiness moving forward on your new adventure.
Thank you for sharing the farmhouse final tour with us Lisa! I am excited to see your new “temporary” place and then your new farmhouse! I get so much inspiration from you! 😊😘
I’m going to miss that beautiful farm. All that you and Luke put in to it to make it a magical place for your children to grow and make so many beautiful memories for your family. Can’t wait to see the new place. ❤
I am so teary-eyed as you take us on this final home tour. I have been where you are now and it was so very difficult to leave my dream home, but life brings many changes in different seasons of our lives. I have enjoyed every episode you shared in his house and wish you the best of luck in your new adventure. I will be watching!!!
🌺Sitting here watching this last home tour makes me cry leaving your beautiful home, but…. I don’t doubt your next home will be exactly what you want for you and your family. May God continue to Bless you all.
Hi Lisa! What an adventure you and Luke have started. I’m certain this tour was bittersweet for you but I hope you are also appreciating all the amazing things you both did here; in such a short time. You are both such energetic and positive individuals raising a beautiful family and 8 individuals with so many amazing life experiences here and to be had in the future in your temporary home and your next home. I have a friend who shared this adage with me many years ago - In life you rarely regret the things you do but often regret those you don’t. I love you enthusiasm for your life and your family. Sending lots of love and energy for the next while and thank you so much for sharing with us all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for the tour. You and your husband have done an amazing job with this home. You are a great team. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for your family.
Your outside still holds its beauty at this time of year. Your house is very nice. You look tired. Take some rest time. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️ Praying for your move, and new adventure. Blessings ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
So exciting even though bittersweet. When you see the goodness of God brining you to a place you can buy a temp home while building … huge blessing and absolutely brilliant money management. What memories your children will have on a larger property and how blessed someone will be who buys your home that had such a loving investment of all the improvements you completed. New memories are on the way. So excited for you and your family.
I have rewatched your older videos so I could have the memories of your beautiful home. I look forward to the future with you and your beautiful family. Love and blessings.
My dad was military and we moved so many times in my young life. Always sad to say goodbye to familiar things but also fun to see new things and build new memories. I am 66 now and raised my boys in the same house with the school just down the street. So I hope your family enjoys building new memories to entwine with this home’s memories. As long as the family is there the love will be too. ❤
Like you, I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into renovating an old farmhouse in GA and later built a new one, keeping the best features. Merry Christmas and wishing you a wonderful new year! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
❤I would have loved to make a video when we sold our last home. 20 years ago I made a photo album and written descriptions of the home and property for tours. The buyers kept it along with the appliance warranties, framed survey and a few antiques that came with the home. Great video tour! 😊
😭 I’m not ready! Excited to see what you do next but I left a similar home 5 years ago after completely rebuilding it from just a shell and this makes me so sentimental.
The love and beauty you left there will grace the new owners. You and your family created a beautiful and welcoming home. The memories will bless you all -for always. May the wind be at your back for new adventures.❤️
You did a wonderful job on this property, so many lovely moments. I’ve really enjoyed every single video and will absolutely continue to watch Farmhouse on Boone.
You are so strong to leave such a lovely place. I cried as you gave us a beautiful tour. Wishing you many blessings and hours of happiness in your new home. ❤️
I am wishing you a good move to the starting of a new adventure in your lives. I will be watching as always and hoping the best for you and your family ~♥️
It’s all bittersweet when you move. My husband passed in 2016, I finally sold the house this past June. Making the initial decision to sell was hard, but I must say I really have not looked back with regrets since then. Enjoy the process, we’re always making new memories!❤
Your home is beautiful! It’s amazing to me how much you accomplished on your property with the busyness of a growing family! I bet it will sell quickly! 😊
How cool that you have a Norwegian wood stove 😀 Jøtul is a very solid, old company, founded in 1853. My parents had a very similar one in my childhood home
Beautiful home and a very tender memory tour. A new family will be blessed to live here! God bless you with strength as you build your next home, taking with you all the creativity and experience you gained here. You know, God is the Creator and it’s a privilege he gives us to share in that skill. ❤ I’m looking forward to seeing your next homes! One step at a time!
Thank you for sharing this video. Although I've been watching since the old Boone days, I'd forgotten so many of the projects . The house is beautiful and I'm sure your thankful you'll have all these fabulous videos of the home but of your babies. 🥺 Look forward to your next seasons! 😊
This home is beautiful even as you I dont like the winter's months I find them sad 🤷♀️🤨 Thank you for sharing this last visit...Now let's go for new one if I could I would help to carry boxes and stuff 😉 Bises from a french mom 💪👍😘
hey if my home was as large as yours i would also keep my beds away from the walls and my living room furniture also away from the walls...love your home...im sure many tears have been shed even tho you are looking forward to the next step....God bless
I love what you have done with it, truly you brought so much value to it. You were faithful with what God gave you multiples it and now you get to be faithful with something else something bigger something more! I pray/really hope my husband and will start to adopt that mentality as well, first year of marriage and half of the second with a now almost 12 month old has not been it for us 😅. There's been some progress but it doesn't feel measurable yet...
Congratulations ❤😊 you guys are awesome and successful and growing 👏 🎉❤. I know how that feels. We move from Tennessee to Florida and changes are great and are good for our families. Thank you for your excellent videos Lisa.
We have many Mennonite families in our area. One family has purchased old barns and had them moved here and then re built just as it was. They are beautiful and one was made into a restaurant in our town. Just a thought. We also have friends who, the husband, makes old home plans for new houses. I also remember Paige sharing a guy who does that. Excited to see what your future holds. ❤
I am so excited to follow you on your new adventure. After leaving our home in the states and moving abroad following Gods calling, I understand leaving a home you have built so many memories in. Good bless you in this new chapter.
I’m so deeply excited for you and your family. Three years after leaving our old farm and I STILL get sad, however I know we are building beautiful memories at our new farm and I know you will too.
I will miss the farmhouse too Lisa but I so look forward to seeing the new house and all that you will do to make it a home! One chapter closes and another opens! ❤
It's funny that you talked about the beds being away from the wall. That's one of the first things that stood out to me when watching your videos. I actually really like it! I thing it makes the space look tidy and spacious. I wish I could do that in my home. ❤ 😊 ❤
I agree! Don’t push the beds against the wall and I don’t place the bed heads in front of windows. If you must you must but making the bed is a hassle and it just doesn’t have a great look. That’s just me. You have done a beautiful job with the home.
One reason it's good that beds aren't up against the wall is because depending on the insulation in the walls (especially old houses), in the cold months the walls can build condensation from temp fluctuations even more so with wood stoves. You will build mold outside and inside that wall and also transfer on to the bedding. Trust me, I've seen it many times having a cleaning business and even my own home and its not even old. Poorly put together in some ways. Super smart and with all of that space, one should think that its smart and not weird. How "weird" is it, that when we see someone do something out of the norm its a concern rather than conforming to what's "normal". Lastly... being a cleaner maybe lol..... how amazing is that for vacuuming and keeping more of a tidy home. WAY easier and less of a deterrence and always avoid and then it builds up!
I live in a 1925 house here in Houston now this was my childhood house and after my mom passed I got it. It has the jack and Jill bathroom and also the connecting doors to the other bedroom so the house is kind of like quirky… but I totally love it. You walk in the living room. The dining room is connected with it had French doors which we took off so it kinda looks like that open concept then from the dining room there’s a door to my bedroom and there’s a doorway to the kitchen now the kitchen is small and when we bought it, the fridge is in the hallway. It’s in a cubby in the hallway, it’s not in the kitchen, but they connect and then the hallway goes into the main bathroom. Then my bedroom has a door to the main bathroom and the other bedroom so there’s three doors you have to shut to get to the main bathroom, but I have all boys so I end up having built another bathroom in the back that extra larger closet are empty now so I turned the hallway into a walk-in pantry plus the fridge is in the hallway and the back bathroom it. We took the closet out and we put our washer and dryer in there so it’s bathroom with the washer and dryer and it works for me. I love it. My kids always saying we should add on but for what just us too and I enjoy this little 1925 house now we are finally taking out the old windows because they’re so drafty and putting in new windows and we’re doing it at a slow pace because our budget Last year, I did get the company to put the blow insulation up in the attic and it helped a big difference on our energy bill. We just also put the gate that we have to come in. We made it to where it’s an automatic gate that was kind of costly, but we did it and I love it. This old house I always loved it, but it’s always got a lot of little upkeep Ing, which we have been doing this year. Couple of rooms have been painted more need to be painted little odds and end jobs. We just also this house has a porch. We just did a really like upgrade or like a touch up refresh on the porch. I love it . We have a new grandbaby so when she comes, we can sit on the porch with her… I totally love the old houses I really do

I've been watching you for a long time. I got emotional for you. I have moved so many times. This move has been the best I'm by my family again. I can't wait to see the new house before you know it it's going to feel like home time goes by so fast.
You should leave that painting with the house. When we bought our house, a framed arial photograph came with it from the original builders. It has been passed down through 3 generation of owners. It was so nice to see how the property has changed and matured. I feel like that painting belongs to the homestead ❤
Are you gonna move to another farm whatever you purchase I hope you share with all the people that have stayed with you over the years and love you and your family as dear friends your new home or farm. Happy holidays to you and your family.
While I'm sad that you are leaving this beautiful home I understand why you want to move. I have watched you since you were in the final days of living on Boone so I feel like I've gone through all the renovations on this house with you. Good luck on your next journey!

This house is absolutely beautiful! You can feel all the love and thought that was put into it.
You all are some hard working folks. God bless you in your move and have many happy adventures.
I felt like I was going to cry. I can feel the sadness in her voice, the sadness I see in her expression, and her eyes.
So sad for you to be moving - but I am excited for the new adventures!😮
Ohhh Lisa. Such wonderful memories.

I am sure the new place will be nice but

Couple of rooms have been painted more need to be painted little odds and end jobs. We just also this house has a porch. We just did a really like upgrade or like a touch up refresh on the porch. I love it . We have a new grandbaby so when she comes, we can sit on the porch with her… I totally love the old houses I really do
I feel the passion that you have for your house. I have equal passion for mine...a home built in 1908.

I’m so excited your new chapter! Can’t wait to see the process of building your home! ❤
I feel like that painting belongs to the homestead ❤
i like that you don't have the beds pushed up against the walls.
Holding back the tears is tough but you managed it. Long road ahead of you all but will be so worth it. Looking forward to the next videos ❤
