I think DOT is doing the best they can to up the tourism industry in the country. That's why there are many restoration projects in Manila to bring back its former glory.

I'm glad that they were able to feature "daranak falls" which I can say a long forgotten hiddem gem in the capital. Glad to see many old buildings in Intramuros has been restored. There's a very rich culture that lies in old manila. Sadly majority of all these structures has been damaged by war. But places like Vigan City in Ilocos still preserved the old colonial heritage. If you want to tap to the country's rich history, a must place to visit is the 2000 year old ancient Rice terraces of the cordilleras in Banaue. The vast rice terraces can encircle half of the globe, it was carved in steep mountains using minimal tools by the Ifugao tribe.

We been under Spanish control for 340 years ,we been occupied by American again for 50 years and 5 years under Japanese in world war 2 . Despite all the lost , pain and struggle of every Pilipino we continue to fight for our Freedom. What they left we dont hate the Spanish, American and Japanese , insted we learn to forgive them ,because its our history and history should not forgotten but need ho remember so that history will not repeated.

Calle crisologo is located in Vigan Ilocos Sur not Ilocos Norte
@@LucilleSarocamvigan ilocos sur still has untouch colonial structures unlike in Bagac Bataan, it's an open museum it's too polished. It was build from scratch though to move old structures and rebuild there. Pagsanjan Laguna has also a lot of hispanic houses that is still untouch.
Taal is better than Vigan in terms of heritage houses. Las Casas Filipinas is just a disney-fied version of colonial Philippines, almost like a caricature.

not really. if you know the places to go to, its a good one. Cebu mostly is on the tropical feel because of beaches but Manila has a lot to offer.

Just because you hate spain doesn't mean you need to boycott the products of spain or destroy the historical infrastructure that have been in philippines for hundreds of years, those are part of the history that we shouldn't forget but instead sharing the information of whatsoever story that's in it. Nah , if ur talking about the colonization, shouldnt the old spanish people that already died be blamed. Not the current Spain. Those with war crimes already died. Ur whole life shouldnt be focus on not forgiving. Spain has repent a lot by giving filipinos citizenships and jobs.
