VFR Flight - Canada to Chicago Midway KMDW Diamond DA40 NG EYZ

A beautiful VFR weekend with business meetings in Chicago. MIDWAY KMDW is the busiest commercial airport I have taken on. Spectacular weather, smooth flight, and helpful ATC made for an incredibly fun day. Hope you enjoy ! EYZ

Thanks for the comment, I was nervous as well, especially once you get into the airspace around Chicago, but in the end, it was pretty easy....just need to stay aware of the airspace you are in.....let me know if you ever get around to giving it a try !! Good Luck, EYZ

Very nice, Dave. We did the same flight down to KMDW in august too for vacation in Chicago. You had a nicer VFR day than we got!

Hello Dave. Thank for your videos, I really like them. If is possible, Could you talk about the yaw damper of this plane? I am not sure if this plane has one. Also would be great if you can put a camera focusing on your PFD and MFD. I really appreciate your work, I am learning a lot. Thanks Dave

Thanks for the comment, unfortunately the DA40 does not have a yaw damper, so need to keep an eye on the ball and apply rudder as necessary. Usually not a big deal in cruise, but will glance at it regularly and apply appropriate rudder. I will try to rig up a second GoPro on the PFD and MFD and see how it goes.....look for it in some of the upcoming videos, if I can get it together.
