Hello best friend. I really like your content. Such an awesome Plant Chores. Thank you for sharing a very inspiring video. Hopefully in 2022 we will all be HEALTHY, STRONG, SUCCESSFUL, HAPPY and in God's protection. Greetings from me, ALI in Indonesia.
I owe you a big thank you! I had no idea about Vermont Hoya's temp list and now know that my Subcalva was declining because it was too cold! I love all of the experimenting and try to do the same to learn.
I have propagated B. Amphioxus from a single leaf cutting not stem. I put it in a soil and in the mini terrarium. It tooka few months but it grew in a full plant eventually.
Hi Roos, I totally enjoyed this video and I think it is so cool that you pick up the beach debris and you are rehabing those plants and sharing them!!!!
@Yoga and Plant With Roos yey! I'm so excited. Your garden center tours are my favorite among all the other tours coz I get to see plants that we don't often see here in North America. (I'm from Canada) 🥰🥰🥰
Roos, absolutely love your videos. I also love watching BenjiPlants and his plants/terrariums/aquarium content. Your plants are doing great. I recently bought a P. White Princess and can't wait to start looking as your rescue ones.
I'm using the alcohol pen after you recommended it on Instagram (I think?) and it works perfekt for mealy bugs. Your rescued plants looks so beautiful. I'm very happy for your mom. She deserves it to get this stunning plant after loosing so much in the fire 🧡
That's awesome!! Thank you, yes she does. My parents are doing good tho, they have a design for a new house that will be all sustainable and eco friendly.
Hi, loved the video ❤️ It was just what I needed to motivate me to do some plant chores as well :D The alcohol pen is a great idea, luckily I haven't had a mealy bugs infestation (yet). I don't really propagate in moss anymore because it is so hard to get it off the roots without damaging them. I mostly use perlite or water to propagate and LECA for grown plants. I was having a bad soil mites infestation and switching to semi-hydroponics really helped. I also have noticed less pests since I did that (almost no fungus gnats). Love your tiny hoyas, the prop box looks so cute! 🪴
Thank you haha happy to help motivate you! 😅❤️ Yeah I agree with you about moss. In this case, I'll keep the moss on the roots and use that to plant it into the terrarium 👌🏻 I like semi hydro to rescue certain plants or root hard to find cuttings, but I still prefer soil in the end. Thanks for watching!!
Yes I am - I do get into cool places for filming (paid or unpaid) and have made friends with owners of plant shops over the years. It sometimes helps to be as chatty as me haha
Looove these kind of videos!! Insane that they were throwing away that beautiful white princess, I'm in love with it!! Are you allowed to say where they threw it out? I'd love to purchuse one of them (if they're a bit in my budget...) :)
I don't know if I'm allowed to say but I saw the specific with pink ones over at a webshop I love, @groeninhuis. That way you know for sure you'll get pink!
That alcohol "pen" was a great idea! Where can you buy those? Also about moss propagation: Where do you get your moss? Looks a bit dark. I used to have a lot of difficulties with moss propagation when i used these generic terrarium mosses that is mainly sold for animals. The last time i bought cheap but great quality moss and now it works like a charm! :)
We have a cheap store here that has everything including art supplies, that's where the pen is from. The moss is good quality spagnum, tho I agree that this bag looked dark. Thank you!
I have an Alocasia frydek most likely on its way out. It only has one leaf and it’s yellowing. Once that leaf is gone is there anything I can do with the bottom chunky stem? So I can start over.
How often do u water ur hoya,,that are on ur heating mat..The ones on my mat are dry every 3 to 5 days,,but they are a little smaller...So how do you go about urs??
Great question! The ones in the terrarium on the heat mat dry out very quickly, they get sprayed every few days. The ones in the new prop box so far haven't been watered cos the moss was pretty wet and the box is closed well so 100% humidity.

Best friend? Haha hello Ali
That trick with paint brush is amazing. I'm going to try it out! Great video, thank you for sharing and inspiring.
Thank you very much! I love that tip too, Ans from @urbanjungling is pretty smart haha

I’ve also grown Amphoxis from a leaf in a glass jar an spag moss. Happy propagating. 😀

I’ve been wanting a Hoya deykea, why is it tricky? I’m curious to hear from your experience. I love watching your channel, you are pure gold!
Awww thank you so much! It's just a fussy plant, everyone I know struggles growing it. Even the woman it is named after!!
on my wishlist , too. but now , having second thoughts🤔
Your alocasias are amazing
Thank you! I love them so much, trying to get them a better reputation haha
Lovely video! Could you share which pot you have your gloriosum in? I struggle to find pots that fit the horizontal growth
It's in a pot by Elho, that's officially meant for outdoors 🤭😅✌🏻️

Hey, Alocasias actually can go into dormancy in winter, so I'd just let it be. If the stem is still OK it will start to grow again in spring! 👌🏻❤️
@@plantwithroos ohhh. Ok. So just cut it down to its woody stem and wait for spring? I can do that. Thank you
@@1101naomi just leave it and see in spring 👌🏻
As a fellow dutchie; where did you get your potting mat from? 😀
Loved the video!
Heyyy! They're from Gardena!
@@plantwithroos
Dankjewel!

So ur really jus spraying urs a lil,,not soaking them letting the water really run threw the bottom.
@@leahwatkins9911 I spray pretty long and intensely so not just a bit of mist.
Do you know what causes the black spots on the hoya? That happens to mine too and idk what they are... plant seems fine though
Paul Shirley answers this in a video I have on my channel and basically said as long as the plant is still happy and growing, it doesn't matter 😅❤️
@@plantwithroos Yayy! lol, k thanks.. I think it might just be too much light, but the hoya is about to bloom so I'm not complaining! lol
@@jw2223 haha that's awesome!! Love it when they bloom
Hi….I’m new to your channel and Hoyas. Can you please share the name of the first one you put in your new prop box. It has round pink leaves. 🪴
Hey welcome! That's a Hoya heuschkeliana variegata with sun stress which makes the leaves pink!
Thank you 😊
is the one you’re cutting at 12:00 a heuschkiliana?
Yes, I say that in the video too!
do u like vintage, i buy the best cutest hand made knits from there on etsy
I do like vintage but I'm pretty picky, with most things haha
