After much anticipation, BDS Suspension is now shipping complete 5" and 6.5" high clearance lift systems for the 2020 model year Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 HD trucks. Based around the tried and true high clearance technology that has made BDS the go to for GM suspension lifts, these systems have been designed from the ground up for the 2020 HDs to get the more out of these trucks with the most ground clearance on the market. This new 5"/6.5" lift systems bring you on-road comfort, off-road capability, and clearance for 37-38" tires. While some companies build "kits" to fit larger tires, BDS Suspension prides itself in engineering complete suspension systems designed to take your vehicle's performance to the next level while retaining OE-level functionality.
At the heart of this new 5"/6.5" systems BDS utilizes a pair of 1/4" thick laser-cut high clearance crossmembers to maximize clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms. These paired with the heavy-duty front skid plate create a rigid subframe while adding protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles are a pair of specially designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles are supplied to maintain proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. The front differential is repositioned with BDS's multipoint relocation bracket system to secure the front differential to keep CV axle angles at a minimum. To help maximize clearance a pair of torsion bar relocations brackets are supplied to mount to the lower control arms to retain the factory high clearance frame-mounted crossmember. A pair of BDS-branded sway bar drop brackets used to correct the operating angle of the factory sway bar along with extended length braided stainless steel brake lines. Rounding out the front of this kit are FOX 2.0 performance series IFP shocks.
In the rear of this lift systems a rear lift block is used along with longer u-bolts to lift and level the stance. Also included, BDS supplies brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. Lastly, a matching set of FOX 2.0 performance series IFP shocks are supplied to compliment the front setup. All kits come finished in a durable textured black powdercoat and sent with all hardware packs to complete the install along with step-by-step installation instructions. All BDS kits include Factory Protection Plus for the ultimate extended warranty to include BDS's No Fine Print Warranty, ESC system compatibility and a 5year-100mile drivetrain warranty to match the dealer. New Chevy HDs have grown on me, especially when lifted. The High Country frontend is my favorite. But those damn mirrors wtf...

@@SAVA6E03 actually went with cognito 4 inch kit with UCA and pitmen idle arm kit. Im only 5'6 so a lift that big would be a pain in my ass lol

Hey Mike, while the kit is designed for compatibility with the OEM drivetrain, if in the event you had a drivetrain failure and the dealer denied the claim for any reason the Factory Protection Plus that is included with the kit can be used. For more on the program head to 560plus.com

No rubbing no trimming? What's the offset? I ordered mine and am told I have a 4 week minimum wait time so I have some time to shop wheels and tires. I don't want to trim too much.
20x10 wheels he said and from the stance they look like a -19 or -24 offset

It looked like a little high speed wobble to me with the steering wheel, you could blame it on the road but little concerning it even stated it in the notes for 4x4 equipped trucks. I was excited until I read that you have to replace the steering shaft to fix this, already spending enough money on the lift now we have to add for that additional cost hum...

Don the steering wheel was shaking if you pay attention IMO I was going to go BDS but I read that there is vibration when In 4wd at high speeds I feel that I’m spending a decent about of money on the lift and would have to send more to remove the vibration. Now I will note the video did show pre production kit so not sure if it’s the same or better

Iv seem the 2020 silverado with 6.5 inch lift and it looks wayyyy smaller then this lift ghis look bigger then 6.5

Can i connect a gooseneck with that lift?
Depends on your gooseneck and how much adjustment it has for a taller mounting point. The 5" kit uses a 3" rear block (plus the tire size difference), the 6.5" kit uses a 5" rear block (plus the tire size difference)
