I made this on Thursday night for our family dinner . I followed your recipe with the exception of addi g a few tablespoons of butter, in addition to the bacon fat, to sautee the cabbage. It was so easy to make and when I served it on Saturday even our finicky ten year old loved it. Thank you. My 13 year old grandson loves to cook and really appreciates your simple yet delicious recipes . Trying your bread next.
Thank you for your nice comment :) It’s definitely a great way to sneak cabbage in. So glad you benefit from my videos :)
This looks delicious, yes I would like to see a video on how you make your noodles. Tfs🤗
Thanks so much, yes I will make one soon :)
My Dad was of Polish descent and he would make a dish with some Sauerkraut, Cabbage and Bacon cooked all together. It was somewhat similar minus the noodles. Will have to give this recipe a try.
A video of how you made your noodles would be awesome.
How nice! That exact thing is also popular in Serbia :)
I often make a version of this dish. I know it as a meat-free and sweet dish (no pepper, just salt).
It's one of my comfort foods.🤤
I too would love a video on how you make your pasta - if there is no pasta making device involved (because I don't have one and I don't want to buy any).
Thank you. That’s an easy quick recipe I will be following. And Yes i would love to know how you made those noodles. 🙏🏻
Thank you! I will definitely make that video soon! :)
I just want to mention it's too bad the bacon made such a star entrance and only afterwards found out it's not. Glad I didn't click out! Glad u made it clear in the description!
Thank you for that valuable feedback, I was wondering about that when making it 😐 glad you stayed tuned :)
I’m not Hungarian, so thank you for the introduction to Haluski! Looks easy and economical, so going to make this. I’d like to make the noodles too, so if you can show us :-) In the meantime, I’ll use macaroni.
Thank you! It will be delicious with macaroni :)
Can you please do a vanilla sponge cake??....luv your videos btw❤
Yes I can, thank you so much :)
I'm Hungarian. We call this dish pasta with cabbage. The "haluski" is the name of the type of pasta, and its name not Hungarian, but Slovak or Polish.
I didn’t know that! My baba (Serbian) made this and in our house we also called it pasta with cabbage or noodles with kupus. Thank you for watching and for this good info :)
It does look good. I would like to know how you make the noodles.😊
Thank you! I will make that video soon :)
Sounds good. will look out for it. 😊
MMMMMMM GOOD made it but without bacon😊
Nice! You actually made it the way it’s supposed to be :)
In Hungary we do not put bacon in it 🙂.
My grandma never added bacon either :)
