honestly I'm one of the underperforming person in the production floor. After I finished the probationary period of employment, I wasn't able to meet the standards of the company but I've been a good employee and I can attest to the numbers of my first call resolution rates for two consecutive months. I know how important the performance is, but what I value is the dignity. The dignity to do what you think is best and does adhere with the company policies, I'm on the safe zone. although I wasn't able to get regularised, I've been a loyal employee and I have good sense of honesty or dignity to do the job well. That's all I can offer for your company.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! If I'm ever asked why I was fired from my last job, can I just say that I got entangled in some inter-office politics? Honestly, that's the SHORT answer about why I was fired from my last job. If I tried to explain the details, I know that a job interviewer would be instantly TURNED OFF, which would only HURT my CHANCES of getting HIRED. But me TERMINATION didn't have ANYTHING to do with my work performance. It was more of a personality conflict between me and a female supervisor. So, WHAT would be the BEST ANSWER, if he/she does asks me why I was DISMISSED from my last job?

Galing po ako sa fast food, isa po akong team leader, pero kahit na may posisyon po ako kulang parin ang sahod at nakita ko pong mas malaki ang sahod sa bpo. Pero, nag enjoy po ako sa company at tumagal ng 5yrs, pero hindi po ako nabgyan ng pagkakataon na umangat pa ng posisyon as a regular crew kahit napangakuan po ako 2yrs ago. Feeling ko po hindi po ako pinapahalagahan ng kumpanya.
Same question po ako ate rea ng kaniya ako po 8 years na din sa company then gusto ko po magbpo yung reason ko naman po im not longer happy with my job and napakbgal po ng asenso ng company parang wala po ako nakikitang gusto nila lumaki.

How to answer the job interview question "why did you leave your last job?" the situation is this. I have many previous work experience before working in bpo. Then I worked as email rep for 3 years in bpo. Then I resigned because the account was transferred to another location and they have to transition to voice account. When I resigned I had 2 voice call training failure. And then, after that I didn't apply yet to any company. My lady job was October 2018. The pandemic started December 2019. That was already 1 year before the pandemic. so I cannot use the pandemic reason. And I need to apply to earn money. What will I do huhuhu. I'm 50 years old by the way. Help me please.

@Rea Ninja hello! This is not my account but I am using my other account to write to you. Im a 2nd timer to apply for CSR position with 2 yrs. gap applying since I am working now with other job. However, even if that is the case I am still planning to purse on applying in BPO and I have a same question as it happened to me as well before on my former CC company. I was luckily able to be part of one of the batches of newbies in a Pre-production training for 3 months, during the 1st month and last 2 consecutive weeks left from the training I was doing well on my performance and then something unavoidable situation happened to me I encountered lot of different types of transfer calls, Uncompromising irate call, and been CSR/TSR Level 1 at the same time, I got also a call from a very old client that took for about an hour assisting them and it happened during the last remaining weeks even before the training end. I was consecutively performing bad and leads for my score to be affected. The timing and execution also contribute on my fall down and seems to be on my way that why my supervisor had no choice but to let me go maybe due to lack of time to make it up for my over-all score standard they fired me. By the way it is the last week before the last evaluation to be fully turn over to the production floor when they let me go. My question is how can I make this look positive when obviously I failed on delivering great satisfactory performance on that crucial time so I that I can make the new company hire me and not only to look on the things that I had been done in the past. I hope you can see my question as I am preparing to do walk in to apply and if ever possibly get a on the spot interview on one day hiring application. I am really having a hard time to come up a positive way to turn it into good way. I am very desperate for your help. I hope you can read this and thank you in advance and god bless. Kudos on helping people like us.
Hi Lara, you can say that you did well and passed your training as well as the first few weeks of calls, and it was just during the last few days that you were not able to meet the performance requirements. Don't say you "failed", instead tell them that you've already learned since then. Tell them exactly what you have done or are doing now to make sure you will do good with your performance. Tell them you believe that you can do better this time. 🙂

You don't have to mention the details of course because that'd be too much info. You can just mention that you've been moving or you had to move to a different city and it took some time to settle down, and that it's all okay now.

Say that you're employed and what your plans will be. Just tell the truth that you will resign ifever you get hired. Usually they will ask why you're leaving so prepare for that too.

How to answer the job interview question "why did you leave your last job?" the situation is this. I have many previous work experience before working in bpo. Then I worked as email rep for 3 years in bpo. Then I resigned because the account was transferred to another location and they have to transition to voice account. When I resigned I had 2 voice call training failure. And then, after that I didn't apply yet to any company. My lady job was October 2018. The pandemic started December 2019. That was already 1 year before the pandemic. so I cannot use the pandemic reason. And I need to apply to earn money. What will I do huhuhu. I'm 50 years old by the way. Help me please.

@Rea Ninja hello! This is not my account but I am using my other account to write to you. Im a 2nd timer to apply for CSR position with 2 yrs. gap applying since I am working now with other job. However, even if that is the case I am still planning to purse on applying in BPO and I have a same question as it happened to me as well before on my former CC company.
I was luckily able to be part of one of the batches of newbies in a Pre-production training for 3 months, during the 1st month and last 2 consecutive weeks left from the training I was doing well on my performance and then something unavoidable situation happened to me I encountered lot of different types of transfer calls, Uncompromising irate call, and been CSR/TSR Level 1 at the same time, I got also a call from a very old
client that took for about an hour assisting them and it happened during the last remaining weeks even before the training end.
I was consecutively performing bad and leads for my score to be affected. The timing and execution also contribute on my fall down and seems to be on my way that why my supervisor had no choice but to let me go maybe due to lack of time to make it up for my over-all score standard they fired me. By the way it is the last week before the last evaluation to be fully turn over to the production floor when they let me go.
My question is how can I make this look positive when obviously I failed on delivering great satisfactory performance on that crucial time so I that I
can make the new company hire me and not only to look on the things that I had been done in the past. I hope you can see my question as I am preparing to do walk in to apply and if ever possibly get a on the spot interview on one day hiring application.

Hi Lara, you can say that you did well and passed your training as well as the first few weeks of calls, and it was just during the last few days that you were not able to meet the performance requirements. Don't say you "failed", instead tell them that you've already learned since then. Tell them exactly what you have done or are doing now to make sure you will do good with your performance. Tell them you believe that you can do better this time. 🙂

You don't have to mention the details of course because that'd be too much info. You can just mention that you've been moving or you had to move to a different city and it took some time to settle down, and that it's all okay now.

Say that you're employed and what your plans will be. Just tell the truth that you will resign ifever you get hired. Usually they will ask why you're leaving so prepare for that too.

Performance ba ang reason kaya di na regular? You can tell your recruiter na you got a 'needs improvement rating' and explain what you're going to do to improve.

You actually don't need to mention it to your interviewer if you are not comfortable talking about the topic. You may follow my tip on 5:05 of this video. If you worked previously in a call center, you can tell your interviewer that you are looking for better opportunities and you found out that their company has great reputation and competitive benefits. ❤
