It was K-On!!, a TV show about high school girls having great fun forming a rock band playing sometimes very complicated stuff. They grew up thinking that was normal. I have been told that J students must choose either music or sports as a subject. The girls mostly choose music.
@@FrisbieinsteinK-on was inspired by a Japanese live action movie called Linda Linda Linda. I think the manga Nana could also have something to do with girls being interested in forming a rock band.
Fun fact: Maiko and Yuuki are voice actress, also both of them are part of another band named "The Queen of Purple", I highly recommend you to listen to them and also Maiko sings in another band named "2_wEi".
UA-cam doin me a solid, was listening to some LOVEBITES this was on my recommendation list. 👍👍 all I can say is I hope this band gets huge they deserve it.
I absolutely love this band. And im glad they are still going strong with their new guitarist. They are right up there with my top favorites...Gacharic Spin..Nemophila...Bridear...HAGANE...Lot Spirits.
JPU Record of UK sells their music to USA and internationally. I think they may have the distribution rights of them for ex Japan regions. They also sells Lovebites albums.
You can also get the Japanese release through CD Japan - the shipping to US is more expensive but you can get them when they release in Japan vs waiting a couple extra weeks for the JPU release.
One of those great random discoveries that pop up in my recommendations and what an incredible surprise! These girls are fantastic. The thing that stood out to me immediately? Her English is spotless! I typically prefer Japanese lyrics as I tend to find the heavy accent or slurred pronunciations distracting, but she sings in English like she's been speaking it her whole life. I'm actually from GB and I can understand her better than some of the folks from the North of England lol :D
just found this group, pretty good... actually only that english is off-putting for me, exactly as lovebites --- after 5 years of listening to japanese music i just don't fancy too many english lyrics, but if they pronounce it good, it is just too good (not sure how to describe it - just too perfect english LOL)
This album just modified my top5 albums of the year! It arrived just in time! It's surprinsingly heavy, fast and exhilarating! And it's one of the best first albums from any artists in the last ten years at least. Seriously!
It's nice to see (and hear) Narumi in a band again. The song is catchy as hell, with just a lick of edge, and given the other tunes they put out and the album teaser, they certainly seem to know where they are going. Plus, that bass line is sexy, damnit !
What a banger, guitar sound is awesome, bass lines are awesome, singer is amazing, drummer kills it, great change ups and some interesting music here. another Japanese band I have too listen too. Oh well if I have too ❤
Dear Lord!!! Completely hooked after only 10 sec. I am full on board with Lonesome_Blue. Instant fan 200%. Highly talented young ladies. Music wise, this track contains everything I like. Great vocal lines, insane rhythmic section, awesome guitare riffs. Another stunning band. Japan is definitely the place to be. The video part is top notch too. Lonesome_Blue is already in my "Rock Band" Pantheon.
This band is testament to what @WavePotter recently proclaimed: Rock music isn't dead, you just have to look in the right places... I think I got that right

Here's a new band fresh out of the stable, though this isn't their first upload. This is a very impressive introduction! A J-Pop style melody over a Hard Rock arrangement - and it really works! Great musicianship, fine hooks, an impressive lead break, and good production. The level has been clipped at 0.8dB which is odd but it sounds fine. I look forward to hearing more from this promising new band. My Score: Very Good 4*

They really are amazing, and I know about 50 japanese girl bands+ as good as this one, taking out male metal/visual kei look there not recommended.

恵まれたルックスとMVでのイメージとはかなりギャップのある実際のボーカルの野村さん（あえて漢字で苗字書き）はmusicianというよりは、やっぱり声優というのがぴったりですが、このMVはいいですね。この人みたさにMV見てます。もちろんご機嫌のリードギターの安定の成美さん、ファンサービス旺盛のベースさん、そして黄色が似合いすぎるドラムさんも忘れてはいけません。
