Makayla It's Ok What You said is correct, it is better when your record is good but, all is not lost. First of all, Like You said those violations only stay on your record 3 years. So as your third year comes up the points fall off. Secondly, You mentioned a accident that You were involved in but, not at fault. In that case You contact the other insurance company and ask them to write You a letter stating( On their letter head) that You were not at fault, once You have that letter and let the company see it, then those points for that accident do not count against You. To my knowledge they only go back 3years so half the stuff You mentioned should be off or coming off soon. Normally after a commercial driver has 1 year of experience they can come and get any local job that they want. Keep up the good work, You will get their. I myself drove a school Bus with 7 points on my record, I was called in the Supervisor's Office and She asked Me" Why should I let You drive my children in a bus?" And I explained that even though it shows I have 7points that 2of those accidents were not my fault and gave her a 2 letters which knocked down my points to 3 which was ok at that time. I was then able to continue driving my bus.

I think they’re the best paying company for those that need a second chance and don’t have much experience. I like that they have minimum pay on some of their accounts, because the pay in trucking is so inconsistent.

It's a lot that goes into it. Etc. I got a clean record and just cause I live in florida, it's hard to get the right company to hire me. If I can't park the vehicle in my complex or in front of the house, yard, etc, I be like, seriously? I even had a company check the flooding risk when I don't even live in a flood zone.😅😂

Dang man I’m sorry to hire that. Only thing I can say it keep applying. I applied over a 100 jobs not joking until somebody call and said yes. Some companies do let you explain yourself. Good luck with everything. Don’t give up!!!

As soon as they see termination they like nah, we can't touch you until you get 6 months somewhere else. If these last two jobs fall through ima just do something else

So what You have to do is sell yourself, go to the interview and build up yourself, Just let them know that it was a unfortunate incident and that You will be on top of it this time. If that does not work then start applying for class B assignments, you are overqualified but, it keeps money in your pocket and is also experience. I had to do this very thing myself when my first job gave another driver most of my hours. I actually had to drive semi, bobtail ,semi or bobtail ,semi bobtail. I did that for my first year and have not looked back since.
I have had issues with when I was driving and now companies won’t hire me with small minor incidents with parking lot and objects with blast company keller trucking but it isn’t even on my dac record
You can have the cleanest record but one you have that cellphone violation on your record no company will take you it’s gonna be hard to find a good decent paying job

Wassup and no, because I went through same stuff. It’s hard trying find a job on top of local. Local companies are sooo picky because everybody want local. Just kept applying, somebody will hire you.
What truck driving school did you go to? I’m in the east side of Cincinnati and been looking at schools. Haven’t decided if I’m gonna go to a school or go to Roehl gycdl program.
Napier trucking school. Only thing about company paying for it is I think is you have sign a contract and work for at least a year or until you pay it back.

@@latishaanderson8609 they just dispatch from your house. You would goto Chicago get your truck and stuff after that when it’s time to go home they just give you load that’s in your hometown.

All 3 of companies let you take truck home. I worked for McLeod they was in Chicago, they just dispatch from Cincinnati.
