THEY FIXED IT, UPDATED BUILD: ua-cam.com/video/UDE7f7820VM/v-deo.html Quick note, something I don't have time to go back and fix in the vid but we noticed while it was exporting: Ambush on the calc was adding both the non target bonus and the immobilized bonus when it should have just been the latter, so the numbers on anything shown with ambush on were slightly boosted more than they should have been. All the same though, the math is correct and so is the approach, only the end number goofed, and as to how that happened I simply confirmed numbers without ambush on so that's my bad. Kyle calcs will be added to the site in an hour or two after the vid goes live.

Someone building him with a 4 crit mods build with his base 5% crit rate is so dump my brain retracted into my spinal chord. Great and informative video, credit where credit is due.
It's because you have no luna friends to have fun with... Any 4 crit built descendant with luna has 100% crit rate, even Kyle and Esiemo. The luna nuke launching base is still really fun to play, like before the Kyle fix, even if it only deals ~30M per Kyle to bosses.

@@lobstel2515 We used it for everything, except invasions. It's not strategized, it's just fun, stupid and it works. It's harder on gluttony, since you don't crit and deal much damage, so the luna has to go on the shoulders before launching the nukes because he will overload too quickly once his first frantic state is triggered. In dungeons, it allows you to get over lasers and holes, and it gives additional fun challenges like the little laser cave in the Haven.
@@allikridvaas.5612 Well then I’m glad you are having fun with your friends but we are talking about a “general” usage not “fun” oriented where it’s theoretically the best for every contents either solo, random matchmaking or a team play that are not planning for any combo. Your build only crater to your team and only works when revolved around 1 specific character, it is objectively a worse build for solo and random team and even a friend group who doesn’t has Luna player. I think you are missing the whole point of build guide if you are unironically suggesting this build for others in a general build guide video.

Thanks Vash. Love your builds, even if this one isn't as tanky as I would've liked it. Overwhelming HP has major drawbacks though (you lose the second effect of Kyle's passive, and you're pretty unrevivable if you die) Hoping there's a practical way to restore shields in the game in the future.
Nice to see you releasing content for Concord since it's not being covered at all right now for some reason. Kyle looks like one of the cooler characters. I'll have to check him out when I get my hands on a copy of Concord. I think they sold out because it's not available anywhere right now.

There's way more wrong with Kyle as well. He's designed as a Bruiser, but can't play as one because of bs mechanics. His 1st ability has 3 stacks (with minimal cooldown time between) BUT his skill activation also has a cooldown tied to it. (What in the actual fuck) So, even if you have multiple attacks available, you can't recast until the casting cooldown resets. (Dumbest design mechanic ever) Then there's his 3rd ability (and like you somewhat covered) which is supposed to be his offensive and defensive tanking ability, it's best used as a burst ability (similar to Ajax's expulsion, but unfortunately weaker and with less range) All of this leads to where Kyle's playability is now focused into that One Pump Chump means of use, unfortunately. He doesn't need a rework (per say) but if they fix those bs mechanics and give him better options of his Trancendant mods then he could be a more viable choice to play. Right now he's a level him up to max and just set him aside character.
Also his 1st ability has terrible tracking and often phases right through enemies and activates out of range, and of course his ultimate gets set off by anything nearby in the air.
I’ve try the shield jiggle build, works for pc better. Wish the sensitivity for Xbox was higher. Really cool to know that the bomber build can be useful. Hope they fix the bug soon.

Is there any chance you'll get to Valby build? I know add 'Supply Moiture' and stack crit and number go up. Could you find a proper build for 'Hydro Pressure Bomb'? With mid-air maneuvering, you can really launch yourself quite to distance. Manage to hit half a mil dmg in a dunk, but I haven't seen it since the latest update.
I dont play this game but I like your way of talking. Just thought of you making Genshin content (not that I wanted but it would be helpful to have a simpler understanding of math without melting my brain).
i still not end my testing because i need to max the mods but it looks like HP Amplification gives more shield than HP Conversion (Shield) with Overwhelming Shield equiped

Does overwhelming shield coop with walk a tightrope? Since you’re below 50% HP? Or would it be A waste since its only skillpower modifier that you buff instead of raw SP.

Happened to me as well. It's called Tenno PTSD. It's a mental condition that makes us tenno believe that, in First Descendant, Shields don't take Defense resistance into account, and also that status ailments such as Toxin, go through Shields straight into your HP. Disclaimer: Damage from lava from interception battles does go straight to your HP.

I love Kyle so much, the synergy in his kit is what I love about like Nidus or Baruuq from WarFrame.

I managed to get my kyle ulti cooldown down to 6 seconds, but not sure its particularly practical, time will tell :)
one pump chump cooldown is pretty much what i ran before the last patch except for overhelming shields
