It presents a deep narrative that highlights the complexity of artificial intelligence and human relationships. The film succeeds in engaging the audience in thoughtful reflection while also forging an emotional connection.
it's weird. most of the time when you see a trailer that gives so much of the story away people will complain. and then you get this trailer that gives a ton of the story away (and it's just a teaser!) and people seem to not have a problem with it.
@@jamesliggins891 The comment above is a copy of the top comment here. As for your observation, one reason for that is cos there's a lot of things unanswered in this trailer. What they've given away is the premise, not the story or whatever twist is likely coming. A lot still doesn't fit. Why did the AI nuke LA, but not the rest of the world? Why is an AI with nukes and even a space station seemingly losing the war? What was the AI actually trying to accomplish, since it's apparently not malicious? And why is the film called The Creator anyway? What's with the discussion of heaven, if this is just about a human-AI war?

I think Warner will start doing more movies like this since David Zaslav took over as CEO. He took over about 2 years ago and we have to remember, it takes about 2-3 years to make a big budget movie.
Been awhile since I got goose bumps from a trailer. Actually looks like something worth going to the theater for. if the movie is half as good as that rendition of Aerosmith's dream on, it's going to be truly Epic.
It looks marvelous. Like I wasn’t aware of this film at all until just now and yet it has become one of my most anticipated films of the year. I’m worried it will get buried by franchise movies though, so I hope they do their best to market it.
Absolutely, But they failed with Carter and Tron. So it feels they have really been trying to add an additional franchise for a long time, Carter failure was a big reason for their purpose of Star Wars. If they could own the ground of Sci-Fi Epics they are gonna try. But I mean, There is also a chance this is a one off movie, Though I hope not.
Original? I was 100% sure it was a star wars film, then i thought it was Avatar, possibly A.I, maybe blade runner 3. It looked like it was a bit of everything but original
So good to see Gareth back and with such original content. VFX look really good, glad to see he's gotten another stab with a high budget, it was worth waiting for. At least now Gareth gets a chance to prove his chops once again away from meddling hands. 👏🏻
@@SuperMIKevin His Star Wars movie, Rogue One, was modified pretty significantly by other people. Studio interference, as people like to call it. I do think it's nice to see him doing something that's not part of a big franchise again.
Good to see Gareth 🙄 He's not some old mate you ran into doing the shopping ffs... He's a movie director who's done a couple of crappy Star Wars films and a Godzilla film a decade ago... Movies no one actually cares about
@@SuperMIKevin Rogue One was reshot with direction under Ron Howard. Gareth wanted to make a war movie, but Disney thought it wasn`t kid friendly.. So Rogue One wasn`t really Gareths film..
Considering how phenomenal the cinematography for Rogue One was, I am extremely pleased with the vision and landscape for the film and can't wait to watch it.
Feel like this trailer bodes badly for the amount of concept scenes / shots which are 1:1 replicas of Rogue One sequences, just shot in a non-star wars universe. I would probably suggest not rewatching Rogue One before watching this one
He's such a visual director who has a great eye for shots. But of course it's not only him. His cinematographer, Greg Fraser, is slowly becoming one of my favorites. He shot this, Rogue One, The Mandalorien both Dune movies and The Batman.
I like that the AI isn't just a generic evil thing to destroy. Also, having seen TENET, I'm really excited for John David Washington to play another action role. Not only that, the action scene snippets look exceptional. It's probably a popcorn flick, but I am pretty excited.
Gareth Edwards started his career working in the vfx department. He understands how things should look in scale, lighting and texture. In addition to that - trigger warning - He’s responsible for the look and feel of the newly revamped Godzilla movies and his work on Rogue One, in my humble opinion - forever changed the fabric of Star Wars films and tv. Obi-Wan, The Mandalorian, Andor etc. all have a look and texture that’s grounded in ‘reality’. I’m excited for this and John David Washington and Ken Watanabe are the icing on the cake.
What do you mean you never hear about it? You literally just watched the trailer, along with 5 million other people, which is #7 trending. How many people have to see it before you think "anyone has heard about it"?
@@EngineeredTheMind that's just how the movie industry works. We don't find out 3 years in advance, we find out when they announce the release with a trailer. Films don't always make it out of early production.

I couldn't tell you the number of box office disappointments that had good production quality, environment, actors, plot, SFX, and music. Hoping it doesn't turn out like that, but if I was a betting man, I'd put money on this not making it's money back
You better cause the last few minutes this kid made have tanked including tenet which was granted due to the pandemic, he needs a hit. Can't be living in Dad's shadow all the time
The most important part is that it looks like proper scifi by someone who loves and understands the genre. Disney totally lost the track with Star Wars and this trailer shows that Gareth understands it.

John Washington in my opinion has the best diversity in acting from this new generation; he performs amazing in action, sci-fi, drama, comedy, and more.
Feel like they could’ve used a more fitting song idk why lol great trailer nonetheless
@@tired783 it seems like a new trend to use old rock music as the soundtrack

Who did the rendition?
How long have you worked for the company that made this? This is generic sci-fi. I mean, FFS, rouge AIs go back to the 60s.
Cox suoer filmdi. Aktyorlar cox gozel rol aparib. Her kese baxmagi tovsiye edirem
It looks marvelous. Like I wasn’t aware of this film at all until just now and yet it has become one of my most anticipated films of the year. I’m worried it will get buried by franchise movies though, so I hope they do their best to market it.
I mean this is owned by Disney.
So they have no reason to try and bury it. They would love if this took off and have their other properties.
@@ZarZarZoinks You say this as if they haven't purposely buried their own movies before.
YEEEEESSSS, Can we please get more original stuff like this, this looks absolutely amazing
Original? I was 100% sure it was a star wars film, then i thought it was Avatar, possibly A.I, maybe blade runner 3. It looked like it was a bit of everything but original
@@covingtonrace1 Then don't watch it. Who cares about your stupid opinion? lol

People of America and the world please let this movie succeed so original movies can come back!
So good to see Gareth back and with such original content. VFX look really good, glad to see he's gotten another stab with a high budget, it was worth waiting for. At least now Gareth gets a chance to prove his chops once again away from meddling hands. 👏🏻
What do you mean away from meddling hands?
@@SuperMIKevin Disney? But Disney owns Fox now.
@@SuperMIKevin His Star Wars movie, Rogue One, was modified pretty significantly by other people. Studio interference, as people like to call it. Can't really say whether that's good or bad, since we don't know what his original version would have been. Maybe worse, maybe better.
How beautiful it is🎉
Considering how phenomenal the cinematography for Rogue One was, I am extremely pleased with the vision and landscape for the film and can't wait to watch it.
Unpopular Opinion: SW Rogue One is waaaay better than SWTLJ and SWTROS
@@lstnfctr4796 Don't think that's unpopular at all
Rogue One? LOLLLL.
1 hour ago I didn't know this movie existed, now it's one of the movies I'm most looking forward to of the year

I like that the AI isn't just a generic evil thing to destroy.
Also, having seen TENET, I'm really excited for John David Washington to play another action role.
Not only that, the action scene snippets look exceptional.
It's probably a popcorn flick, but I am pretty excited.
Tenet was horrible. But I'm looking forward to this movie.

Such a nice movie. GREAT!
I am becoming obsessed with this movie
This looks like the movie that I am always wondering why studios never make. Seeing visuals like this outside of an anime is amazing.
studios only do trash like this nowadays, what are you speaking about?
cuz it definitely won't make back its budget
What are you talking about. They made several, with Sarah Connor, called Terminator.
Anime got visuals? Who knew
@@Ethan-de3weand this won't be the exception, unfortunately. But I'll definitely be seated in theatres for it.
👍
I loved seeing Ken was in this! 😮🎉😮🎉 I adore him in everything he does.

How many people have to see it before you think "anyone has heard about it"?

@@EngineeredTheMind I know exactly what you mean, haven’t heard of it either before I saw this trailer 😂. And I’m a huge sci-fi fan 🤖.
@@EngineeredTheMind that's just how the movie industry works. We don't find out 3 years in advance, we find out when they announce the release with a trailer. Films don't always make it out of early production.
This will be a HIT. The production quality, environment, actors, plot. It has it all. Im sure the SFX and music will be amazing too. Really have high hopes for this.
The music came from Michael Giacchino. The Guy who made the score of The Batman and The Planet of the Apes triology. So yes the music will be amazing.
This is going to be a flop just like tenet

John D. Washington is definitely doing his father's legacy justice.. I'm hype to see his next great work, this looks amazing..
I felt his crazy acting in ballers, then in Tenet, now this 💯💯
He did an amazing job in Tenet
Yup, another nepo baby takes their parent's legacy, ofc. I'm so hyped to see another great actor fail in casting simply because their father's name is not Denzel Washington.

I'm not sure about the story, but it looks ridiculously good.
John Washington in my opinion has the best diversity in acting from this new generation; he performs amazing in action, sci-fi, drama, comedy, and more. On a personal level, it's heartwarming to know his parents are alive and well to see him pave his way into Hollywood. I imagine Denzel is proud to see his son take stride to his same passion and career. The Washingtons are a special acting force among the Hollywood legacy families and an all-around amazing family.
