Position your mic's where they face only the drum you want and will greatly reduce bleed. Also set your gate so that it only picks up from that drum.

i think you've clipped the preamp my dude. The mic has like 150dB SPL, it shouldn't distort when put next to a floor tom.
Still the demo shows the characteristics really nicely. Like the tone it produces.
