Having visited California for 3 weeks with a friend who was half American, and raised there, I can say that I was surprised and impressed by how hard working and serious most people I met were. No, your heavenly father abandoned this innocent child and placed her in a mentally sick, violent family in which she should have died but had to serve an alcoholic narcissist mother. So never praise "Gods creation" if you don't know the person's life. And dont tell us that his cruelty formed her strength, its an insult to all affected humans

There are so many things to comment about! For one thing, there's no way on earth that Markle Sr. made $200k per year at ANY time in his career. In 2024, the AVERAGE Hollywood lighting director makes only $54k per year, while the low-income line is $80k per year in Los Angeles. Adjusted for inflation, $54k would be about $27k in 1995. There's no way that a daytime soap opera is going to pay their crew 8 times the going salary! Look, if he really were that good, he would have been working on high-budget Hollywood movies, or at least top-rated nighttime television shows, definitely not a lowly daytime soap opera. He didn't win the lottery, either; Markle Jr. has admitted that he made up that lie to explain how his dad spent so much money on Meghan, what with ballet lessons, private schools, international travel, plastic surgery, a top-notch university education, etc. Where Markle Sr. DID get that money is a question for another day.

My husband was a Set Decorator/Lead man on movie sets, and depending on how many movies he worked on per year, he could easily make that much or more. They are paid great money, and there are a ton of perks to go with the job. The only drawback for us was that he had to travel and would be gone for months at a time, and the hours were long each day.

I never heard of Meghan or Suits until her name was linked with Harry’s. This bio was definitely insightful. I now understand why Meghan had a hardship blending in with the royals, but it seems they have much in common without realizing it.

We have to remember that this is the original version of Lady C's book written before so much more information was available for her to print. Since this edition was published Meghan has shown so much more of herself as one can only hold a mask up to their face for so long before carelessly letting it slip. I will reserve my opinion about Lady C's book when the updated version is released, I just hope she has updated a lot of even what we have heard here in the beginning of the book.
Lady C has it wrong. She should have watched the footage from the wedding. Right when the camera changes angle to a shot from the ceiling you can still see Harry and Meghan bow and curtsy in the same spot where Eugenie and Jack would do it a few months later, before starting to walk to exit the church. It's a shame that this was never rectified.

Having visited California for 3 weeks with a friend who was half American, and raised there, I can say that I was surprised and impressed by how hard working and serious most people I met were. Unfortunately, the kind of TV shows shipped to the UK in the 70’s and 80‘s did not do justice to the lovely Americans I met.

He gave her a serious genetic malfunction at birth which deformed her body so that her father wished she had never been born and recommended to her to take poison.. And because of that she had to suffer so much and had to live not as her real identity until an operation to be considered as almost normal. But her aristocratic husband, who was an alcoholic and brutal, quickly abandoned her when he found out about her "abnormity". And she could not have children either because her body had this birth malfunction. You have to read her biography to know what this woman suffered, especial in the family. She had to fight for her beauty with unspeechable pain, and her mind and humor she developed all by herself through her courage to live. No, your heavenly father abandoned this innocent child and placed her in a mentally sick, violent family in which she should have died but had to serve an alcoholic narcissist mother. So never praise "Gods creation" if you don't know the person's life. And dont tell us that his cruelty formed her strength, its an insult to all affected humans

The opening scene of this book describes Meghan riding in the Rolls Royce to her wedding. I was waiting to hear Lady C mention how she batted away the hand of the gentleman who reached out to help her while she was struggling to get out.

There are so many things to comment about! For one thing, there's no way on earth that Markle Sr. made $200k per year at ANY time in his career. In 2024, the AVERAGE Hollywood lighting director makes only $54k per year, while the low-income line is $80k per year in Los Angeles. Adjusted for inflation, $54k would be about $27k in 1995. There's no way that a daytime soap opera is going to pay their crew 8 times the going salary! Look, if he really were that good, he would have been working on high-budget Hollywood movies, or at least top-rated nighttime television shows, definitely not a lowly daytime soap opera. He didn't win the lottery, either; Markle Jr. has admitted that he made up that lie to explain how his dad spent so much money on Meghan, what with ballet lessons, private schools, international travel, plastic surgery, a top-notch university education, etc. Where Markle Sr. DID get that money is a question for another day.

We have to remember that this is the original version of Lady C's book written before so much more information was available for her to print. Since this edition was published Meghan has shown so much more of herself as one can only hold a mask up to their face for so long before carelessly letting it slip. I will reserve my opinion about Lady C's book when the updated version is released, I just hope she has updated a lot of even what we have heard here in the beginning of the book.

Lady C has it wrong. She should have watched the footage from the wedding. Right when the camera changes angle to a shot from the ceiling you can still see Harry and Meghan bow and curtsy in the same spot where Eugenie and Jack would do it a few months later, before starting to walk to exit the church. It's a shame that this was never rectified.
