We went back to one of our favorite dispersed camping areas in Washington on this beautiful October weekend. We got lucky and found a huge site right along a river. We also share how we fixed the voltage issues we were having with our Dometic powered cooler. Hopefully this fix will help some of you having the same issues. Thanks to both of you for your videos and all the work you do to make them. I enjoy every bit of them, night shots too, as we live in the city are are glad just to see three stars. Those shots bring back our memories of camping. I especially love all the trees. and every facet of camp life you guys share, trailer and equipment info everything. I especially love your kick back style of living. It is a total pleasure and I am a recent fan.Regarding cig lighter issue, I only use those when I have to, like in an emergency, otherwise I use things like the Anderson connectors also available on Amazon, they can handle higher amperage loads and give a good solid connection. Especially useful for full power from a tow vehicle to a trailer. Best to both of you!

Beautiful spot. October is fantastic camping time, still a bit warm and most of the fair weather campers are done for the year (lot of hunters though). You probably extended the life of your fridge by changing the plug, power fluctuations can bring a shortened life to appliances.

That’s one of our favorite areas to camp as well. Spring and fall are nice when it’s not so packed! I’m sure we’ll see you guys out there eventually. Keep an eye out for a black 2 door JLR with an iKamper on top! Great video as always 👍🏻

Ah, Sunday morning coffee and a WW video. October here has been really nice so far. No complaints. Question, is there a benefit to stacking the firewood in a triangle shape? I usually do it in a square shape but I'm open to trying that during my next trip. Emily's lights are always great. I love the atmosphere. - Matt

Had the same issue. Those 12V cigarette type connections are horrible. I too hardwired and never had any issue since.
My 12volt plug will work its way out of the socket as I travel down the road. Decided to use a bungee to hold it in unless anyone has a better idea. I plug it into a Jackery power supply.
Bungee cords are the answer to everything! Lol. You would think in this day and age we'd have a better 12v solution by now...
have you 2 ever rented or tried camping in a "Square drop" instead or your tear drop? Maybe an Idea for a video....side by side comparison?
