@@HeatingGreen Thank you. Which type of heater amongst them all warms up faster? I would like to get the one that doesn't take too long to heat a room. Thanks.
@@SomeOne-yv8jf It truly depends on the size of your room, your electrical, and the insulation in your home! If you want to use our heaters as a primary source of heat, we recommend 6-8 watts/square feet. We have indoor heaters that range anywhere from 200-1500 Watts. Feel free to request a quote online to get a better idea of which heaters will be the best fit for your space! heatinggreen.com/get-a-quote-from-heating-green/
Hi Duncan, Heat pumps and Infrared can work in symbiosis given the heating needs of your particular space. Generally speaking, ductless heat pumps are really only good at heating a room within the general vicinity of that particular pump. By installing infrared, you are creating an environment where you are heating the entire area more efficiently than a heat pump while consuming significantly less energy. Thank you for your question, If you would like to know more check out the blog post on our website that does a deep dive on this: heatinggreen.com/supplemental-heating/ -HG
Are these heaters 110 or 220 Volt ? What has this done to your electric bill? I know when I run even one electric heater in my house, the electric bill goes up about 30 or $40 per month. That's just with one electric heater running occasionally
Our heaters can be customized to any voltage, and because of the efficiency of infrared vs. traditional forced air heating, the energy costs are significantly lower. Thanks for the question! -HG Team
Can any of these be controlled by thermostat? My daughter just rented an older house that has no central heat and air. I'd like to get her a heater that she can take with her when she goes. Which would you recommend?
Hi Jay! Yes, These can be controlled by a thermostat! The ILO heaters would probably be your best option as these come with a cord and can easily be moved and taken with you. Check these out! heatinggreen.com/product/ilo-infrared-plug-in-radiant-heating-panel/ You can also purchase a plug-in thermostat from our website as well! heatinggreen.com/product/plug-in-thermostat/
Our heaters have been installed all over the world, including the great lakes region, and even colder areas than that. Infrared works in every application!! -HG Team
Damn, that fireplace was gorgeous.

Why use a heat pump but wire in for IR ? Is the heat pump better than IR?

Yes but what's the average temperature in your area? Would it work in a very cold area near the great lakes? Up north?

Whole house? I see lots of AC systems. The radiant heat wood stove is what I would have kept for sure.
heat pumps are not infrared ...
You are correct. Infrared heat can't be beat! -Hg Team
Patio heaters should be illegal… they are in France. Why not cause your own climate change emergency directly by heating the outside! Crazy…
Get real. Are you serious? Like you're going to affect the climate with a patio heater? OMG 😊
These people have no critical thinking ability.
