Thats where cones and beacons come in handy.. I'd also like to see you try that with a 1 ton truck.. not to doc your new toy but id be surprised if the hydraulics could keep up with that... lets see it
@viertels This was a staged recovery when we first got the truck. All our drivers wear safety vest, gloves and if in construction hard hats. It's quite an accomplishment to own 80 truck, best of luck to you and your business.
Not as big of a pain as if the cable snapped! The last time I straddled a cable we had three 1Ts doing a 300 ft cliffside stolen recovery; it snapped three steps after I crossed it, did some damage to two of the trucks. That was 1985 and I haven't crossed a tight cable since! The thought of that energy unleashing (could've been between my legs) made a believer out of me, and everyone else on that scene.
One word of advice even if doing a staged recovery .Never ever step over that cable just take the time and walk around the truck to get to the otherside .Its a pain in the butt but cables do snap even ifbrand new......
Love the truck first. Second yes it can do a one ton. I've seen it. Proper rigging is required of course. Take consideration of the incline, load, resistance, distance. On a side note this of course can still be done with a normal truck. I've done it in a reg carrier and I've recovered a for door chev 3500 out a creek up and over the rail in my lil single line wrecker. Threw it on the sling and rode out with fifty bucks from the troopers who bet I couldn't do it in less then 30min lol.
That's great, how is the stability of that deck? What's the deck rated for? I love that it can go right over the guard rail like that. I see that you've had this for at least 2 years has it held up for you? Thanks and good video
How do I choose the best flat bed tow truck that I can tow the car fast and easy.Fast like getting the car on the ramp.May some 1 name the best tow trucks from least to greatest ?
Really Bro ? You do a lot of towing do you ? So you would trade your stinger or T bar so you can load from the Wrong side of the guard rail ? .. WHY ????????????/ Who gives a Fuck It's bullshit and when the trucks gets some years it's garbage .,...
And afterwards, you let it roll down the slope again, set up the flat bed and jumped the car using the flat bed as a ramp? It's ideal for that, since you don't hit the truck cab when it's rotated. Also, with this nice slope, you can get plenty of speed. Now *that* would have been a nice video!
I'd never walk across my winch cable. Nor would I ever walk behind an unsecured vehicle with the bed tilted like that. Especially because I can hear your cable crunching over itself from not being wound right. Another thing I wouldn't do. Is walk up the bed tilted like that. One slip. And your in hurtville. Weather over the side. Or slipping under the car.... Now my challenge to you. Flip the car over. In a very awkward position. Flatten the tires. And possibly remove the ball joint on one side. Lock the steering wheel to the left or right fully turned. And pretend you don't have keys for a neutral position.
no "Fail" here, once the vehicle is secured with the front safety's you can go to the rear if necessary. Now if you choose not to that's your business. Go to any T&R school (wreckmaster/Kinmans/TRAA/CIRT) and they'll tell you the same thing. Let's see your vid so you can show us how its done...
ok put a 4dr dually truck down there and we see the tru loading but why a 2200lb car weighing 1900 without glass lights etc. use a 6700 lb truck or put one of your wrecker units down there or a 4x4 crashed truck take off front wheel make it a good stage action i bet we all would love to see a good one
Does the host understand the purpose of His mission to show how the bed gets over the guard rail? Maybe You could film the turn table function rather than the operator throwing chains about.
1:23 This is where you separate the boys from the men 2:09 now we'll watch him pull the truck up on the car. Reminds me off Die hard when they were in the elevator and the german cops said it's raining like dogs and cats lmao
Nice piece of equipment. But it would take alot of recoveries to pay for that luxury. Considering when you show up to a accident your payed by time.( winch time) You can not charge extra just for owning this rather than a regular flat bed. Yes it would make some jobs easier no question about it. But the quicker your done the less you make. In some case's there's just a flat rate than the less time spent there the better. But that is rare. But hey if you have money burning a hole in your pocket.
That's for show or someone that has more money then brains. Why don't you just pull up 15 ft drop your bed and use a snach Block and be do e with it. Facts are the longer you are out on the road the risk on getting mowed down doubles. This is what you call a Rich ROOKIE!!
Listen you won't find more guardrail on any roadway like you will the Taconic State Parkway and I Flat towed and Recovered the parkway for years without the help of something that places the deck on the other side of the guard rail .. Say it again why I should give a shit of I'm loading from the other side ? Can you say B.S. cause that's what I think of that Gizmo oh and what happened to the Wheel lift or T bar I didn't see one your Truck ?
you never go under or behind a suspended load ever!!!! it doesn't even mater if you have ten chains attached. this guy makes a habit of it. (4:26 /5:44) poor operator skill and safety shown here Fail!
Too many moving parts...try picking up a wrecked f 350...with that spinning little flatbed... Simple solution WRECKERS Light duty, medium duty, heavy duty, Stop trying to make this flatbeds recovery trucks. I would use that truck in the inter city in tight areas not some bs side recovery
What a versatile towing truck!!!
Now i'm in a century 19.5ft right approach carrier. Sweet truck!!!
That flatbed is awesome
This looks like an awesome bit of kit!!
Thats where cones and beacons come in handy.. I'd also like to see you try that with a 1 ton truck.. not to doc your new toy but id be surprised if the hydraulics could keep up with that... lets see it

We actually do charge a flat fee everytime the bed is turned for a recovery.
What do you charge for that flat fee

Thats a good idea with the guide rail for practice/ training.
This is crazy why use that you can just pull forward while winching
That's great, how is the stability of that deck? What's the deck rated for? I love that it can go right over the guard rail like that. I see that you've had this for at least 2 years has it held up for you?
Thanks and good video
Nice bed angle. Say goodbye to anything that has spoilers... just let them know that the damage you cause is free..lol.
thats a cute little toy. I see a maint NIGHTMARE!!!! bring that thing to northern mn and see how it survives in "harsh" environments.
am i missing something... or is there a gap in the guard rail where he could have simply winched it thru..??
Demonstration.
Another innovation in recovering vehicles in awkward places
tight parking lot tows maymby but over the rail i use my century 1150r rotaror every time
that's a tad expensive for fuel and for the heavy duty operator's labor time
I like that tow truck thinking about becoming one must driving myself any tips
Cool for small vehicles, or scraping up motorcycles. What is the weight limits on that kind of recovery? Nice truck.
How do I choose the best flat bed tow truck that I can tow the car fast and easy.Fast like getting the car on the ramp.May some 1 name the best tow trucks from least to greatest ?
I was typing this, and then I looked just below the comment bar, and you already said it. : ( Poor little thing.
DAT TRUCK IS FREAKING BAD ASSS 👍🏻👍🏻🌟🌟🏆🏆💯💯✌🏻️✌🏻⭐️⭐️😎😎
Really Bro ? You do a lot of towing do you ? So you would trade your stinger or T bar so you can load from the Wrong side of the guard rail ? .. WHY ????????????/ Who gives a Fuck It's bullshit and when the trucks gets some years it's garbage .,...
what company made that flat bed

1:30 Cliff Claven - " Yeah that how you separate the boys from the men".
LOL. So you got separated from the men did ya. LOL
Who makes this
your ring is backwards on your bridle
so awsome!!!!
Whatever that's set up I wanna see you pull a corvette out like that then ill be impressed
Elevating!
Id like to see you do that with a 3/4 ton ...also to many moving parts I can't see that bed lasting being worked full time more than 2 or 3 years ...
why do you separate the boys from the men? They both want to watch.
How much cost?
I want one..
"watch as they pull the truck upon the car"!!!!!!!!! That's what they said at 2:08!!!!!!!!!
Lmfao men from the boys...
Comment!!!!
Heavy duty recovery towing is what separates men from little boys....buddy!!!
they're not called "stiff legs" they're called OUTRIGGERS
nah, they're stiff legs on tow trucks
Wow nice

What if the flowers were white instead of yellow tho.?
that camera guy aint worth a crap! made my eyes hurt trying to watch what was happening. but nice working money making truck.

@holmesbridget i didnt see dynamic have that on their site, more like jerr-dan
Sound quality????????
I could have used that truck a thousand times in recovery jobs!!

1:23 This is where you separate the boys from the men 2:09 now we'll watch him pull the truck up on the car. Reminds me off Die hard when they were in the elevator and the german cops said it's raining like dogs and cats lmao
Cool
Hell yes hook and bock
im sorry but if you got 80 trucks then u should be able to tell thats a staged recovery.
t-180?
Nissan s12
Yep

Bigger balls than me I would never stand behind that car with the bed loaded and at that angle...ffs

do that with a chevy tahoe 2500 with a broken ball joint ... then tell me bout boys / men !
That's not a cheap tow
be sure to get some videos up. makes for great advertising Eh?. course you know this already. Just sayin :)

Try again on another video lolol
Nice!
yeah I bet he would have shit if it was up there filming that and that cable broke. I bet you he would have been crying like a boy instead of a man
at 2:10.....this dude says...."we will now watch them pull the truck upon the car" ???? funny......so stupid.
then the idiot stands right by the wench as its being pulled up. this guy could of been cut in half.
Should have tried it with a car that weighs more then 2 pounds. Car has everything taken out of it almost
Ghana fun with your mom and dad's birthday to you
