obviously I'm not salty, but I would say the game is well worth it, I have a blast when I play it. as for maining, just don't. you can play a hero more than all of the others, such as me, who plays mercy a lot, but don't main a character, the game just doesn't work like that
You'll figure out who you want to main pretty quick, though you should probably have at least one main from every class (like, I mostly play Attack, but I can tank or support if I need to, like everyone should) Just try everyone out and see who suits your play style. I'd say the game is worth buying. It's a pretty fun FPS, but a lot of the fun comes from playing with friends. If you don't have any, just friend the coolest people you meet through the game.
