i genuinely love watching comp because it made me realize "this isnt THAT serious, its still a ton of goobers having a great time" especially with the class changes, you would have a hard time to convince me to play anything other than Engineer soldier or Medic
Highlander is a lot easier to goof off in because there are so many variables realistically out of your control. 18 players in a King of the Hill map is just ridiculous and while you absolutely could try hard to minimize that randomness, it's really really like smashing your head into a wall. Meanwhile 6s lobbys are usually a lot less goofing around but because TF2 is TF2 you still run into the occasional "wtf was that, omg please tell me you saw that"
@@deykuzor 6s also has a weird meta where the banlist of weapons revolves around keeping that one meta intact (at least according to a comp player friend of mine)
@@kdevelopergwI mean I haven't played comp 6s or Highlander since ESEA still was doing TF2, so I don't know what's going on now but.... The 6s whitelist was geared around keeping weapons that are genuinely broken out and weapons that are miserable to play against out. I believe RGL (who handles 6s now) genuinely tries to keep evolving the allowed weapons but I never played in an RGL season.
@@deykuzor to be frank I should've mentioned that what I've said is just what my friend's infodumps about tf2 comp made me think - maybe they didn't mean it that way - but yea anyway I'm sure nobody means to like ban weapons out of malice or anything
@@kdevelopergwlmao the 6s whitelist isn't to "keep the meta". It's to ban actually broken and overpowered weapons like wrangler, short circuit, jarate, etc. from destroying the game
19:20 Phish going on a rampage and then immediately going for the backstab after is so good. imagining the enemy comms of "sniper pushing up to spawn right side!" and "sniper behind, on me!" is gold.
little personal advice to any snipers out there, never slow peek, try to move as much as you can but never jump or at least don't do it often aaand always turn around FAST after you scope even if you dont take the shot
Genuine advice salty for the future if you are ever sniping again, try your hardest to make a habit of not shaking your mouse wildly when going for a headshot. Watch Lazy’s video on how it feels to play sniper and his advice is unbelievably helpful.
Watching you try and snipe is actually giving me anxiety, please never do this ever again Edit: I take this back, you got mysteriously good halfway through, hell yea
2018 FUNKe: anything spy can do, sniper does better
2024 FUNKe:
Lunchbox Mixtape reference
Thanks for reminding me that that Video is 6 Years old
FUNKe just calmly going “Lucio.” At the start is just fucking sending me
What do you mean, that was obviously salty phish, can't you tell by his classic catchphrase "Lucio overwatch"
FUNKe actually doing the roll call instead of Phish was fun to hear :)
Im glad Funke is still around. We dont get to hear much from him nowadays.

Things you don't want to hear your sniper say: "I can't even hit the heavy."
6:21 lol It's the "How it FEELS to play Spy" spot

This enemy team: "We're losing to this?"

Slow peeking and hard scoping works in pubs though
I would like to shift that to don't slow peak unless you can head headbug with the gods

7:12 baby's first headshot
Straight up liein
Just as information, fish dealt damage for the first time 3 minutes and 15 secconds into the match, in video time this happens at 7:14
Phish that first round was the most clippable unclippable play I've ever seen in my life
First headshot happens 7:17
First pick happens 9:05
7:13 Phish hits his first shot
the comedic timing on that spy tho lfmao
I am endlessly disappointed that neither of your names had PHUNKe in them
Funky Fish and Sunke tag team duo is crazy
this was the best tf2 video ive watched in months lmfao
the other team is so cool for not taking this as BM
So when will Phish go through the Osu! training arc for sniper?
honestly i love the highlander videos, might even be my favourite content from you
0:45 ONE PIECE!??!?!?!
Watching you try and snipe is actually giving me anxiety, please never do this ever again
Edit: I take this back, you got mysteriously good halfway through, hell yea
Phish you should try taking cover more often, all your sniper positions leave you pretty exposed
Snipin's a good job mate.
This is my favorite series on youtube
