Even better when they have 15 K winds, gusting to 25 when doing this. The 200Ft TO,182 did a good job. Manual flaps rule!

What do they call that extra piece that comes out the front of the wing on the trigear Zenith? I notice it was on Mike Patey’s Draco.

They're called slats

Draco was a built-out Wilga. The Wilga has slots, not slats as the Zenith and Yee-Haw have.
