    Valuable information for a beginner, of using Inktense Pencils AND water coloring. Thank you for your expertise and your clarity in explaining as your ‘show’ the process. I am 74 as I watch this video and write this comment. I have, also, watched many videos on this subject. I appreciate your video. So happy, for me, that it is still being viewed 3 years later when I needed your contribution. I see from existing comments from other viewers that they are happy, too. You have made my day!

    That was absolutely the best explanation I have seen anyone even those with oil or acrylic painters use to explain color theory, blending, value etc. Thank you so very much. You are an amazing teacher. 👏👏❤

    Thank you for your detailed instructions, especially in brush use with these pencils! I tend to use too much water. And thanks for one of the most understandable basics of color theory!

    Great video. I noticed that once they've been dried for a few hours or even over night they are definitely permanent (more so than when you went back in right away). Seems like there is a small window to adjust a bit, but short and adjustment slight.

    It was demonstrated and proven that they are not as permanent when dried as they claim to be. I watched numerous videos it shows that you can still activate the color after they are completely dry. It's not going to be a complete activation, but enough to prove that they are not permanent.

    My inktense blocks I’ve just spent a fortune on don’t behave like this. They dissolve wonderfully, and they’re lovely to paint with, but when fully dry, they’re not permanent, I can reactivate them like watercolour. I dissolve the pigment on a dish so the pigment is fully dissolved, so I don’t know what to think

    It seems like it works like a brushpen, does it? I have a brushpen that I hardly use. How diff is it from a brushpen? Love your tutorial though. Very well explained. I am still a little skeptical if it’s something I would use and benefit fr it. I have watercolor pencils though. Is it worth trying? Thanks.

    • @kaleekabond4964
      @kaleekabond4964  2 роки тому

      It’s definitely different from watercolor since it’s more permanent. It’s all preference. I love the intensity these pencils give. You can use a brush pen, which is like a marker…these are different. 😃
