That twist is still amazing. And I love how they appear to cut to black before coming back for Bender to deliver the "You were in a zoo!" line. It's hilarious.
I wish I could relive that joke blind. I bust a gut laughing when I first saw it, but so much of its humor comes from the surprise factor, that it just hasn't been the same since. Still kind of funny, but that first time, I believe my laughter outlasted the entire credits sequence.
It’s always great to see a Fry and Leela episode. One of my most favourite animated couples ever! It’s interesting how as the series went on, Fry got a little more mature and Leela got a more immature. Also, 4:04 MOVE THAT CAMERA UP! 😅😂
The only problem with their relationship is that its level of seriousness can be rather sporadic. But that's not to say that it isn't done well. It can just feel a little bit inconsistent at times.
An organ grinder is a person who operates a street organ which is an instrument that plays a song when its handle is turned. Organ grinders used monkeys to attract attention and collect money from the audience.
I really like this episode. A fun return of both Gunter and Doctor Banjo. Finally meeting Shaun after Leela's couple of mentions before. And of course the great twist that ties both plots together brilliantly.
This whole episode was actually planned years ago. Like I think during the original run with the first 4 seasons. But ended up a back burner for quite a while
Just for context, "Organ grinder" doesn't mean what you think-- it's an old trope where a guy would have a monkey on a leash, and the monkey would have little music box with a crank handle on it that played organ music-- an organ grinder. Not something that grinds up biological organs :D
This is one of my favorite episodes. Not just because we get an episode where we see. 3 characters who are never in the same room together. Interact with one another, but seeing Seen friend Lila try to be alone as a coupleis kind of sweet.
Oops! Forgot to post this on Saturday apparently.

Fry, " I'm drunk, I'm grouchy, and I'm gonna eat this peanut butter. Want to watch?"
Leela, "Not really, but I will."
Fry, "Fine."
The willingness to do something for your partner's sake, even though it's something you really don't want to be doing. That's true love, right there.
This is my favorite Futurama episode of all time!!😊 Thank you for reacting to it!!

Knowing Futurama though, it's probably a play on words, and actually means the other interpretation.
One of the best episodes
I think Leela mentioned Shawn once before when they visited Zoidberg’s planet.

I love that we get a glimpse of what Gunter does with his business degree

I love this episode fry and Leela’s romantic getaway ❤️
I love how nasty they got, did you see that monkey hosing their semen off the bed?
Great reaction!
Wouldn't be shocked if they are told it's a zoo exhibit in like the very very fine print.
Is . . . Is it Saturday?
I don't remember this episode whatsoever
