A big thing that also helps with traction is the linear power delivery. In the previous model you got a big, violent dump of torque which lit up the rear wheels and in certain situations is dangerous. The S58 is great.
Hey and thanks for watching! We absolutely agree. The torque was very violent on the F models which made balancing the traction tricky or even scary, even though it was also pretty fun. Still, here we get a much more mature power delivery which is better in every way!
Is there a way to turn down that artificial engine sound in the cabin ? I"d rather crack the windows & hear the actual exhaust. And contrary to all of the questions on the new design, particularly the grill. I think it looks great ! Keep up the good work on the channel !!
Здравей! Много ме интересува как се представя окачването спрямо това на m340i с м-стандартно окачване. По-твърдо ли вози m4/m3 G поколение от М340i и как точно се усеща на нашите пътища. Благодаря!
Fantastic video review! You're always easy to watch and you provide great information. Amazed that you fit in the backseat given your height 😅 Looking at trading in my 2020 BMW X3M Comp for a 2022 BMW M3 Comp xDrive. How did the ride comfort compare in the M4 vs the X3M?
Hello and thanks for watching, for the kind words and for the support. Haha yes, there is more space than you think. Better than the F model. To be honest I didn’t quite like the X3M comp. the ride was incredible harsh for an SUV, which kinda defeats the purpose of buying a family car in the first place. Other than that it felt fast and composed, but the M3 is definitely the better drivers car. I also prefer the interior. You can check out the review on the channel.
@@FullThrottleWorld That is probably the primary reason that I'm trading the X3MC in - although I heard BMW is updating the suspension tuning for the 2022 LCI. At any rate, I don't need the space so going back to a sedan with decent passenger space is ideal. Do you know when you'll be able to test the 2022 M3 Comp xDrive?
@@Kimchiguy79 I 100% agree. With setup like this the X3M really makes little sense. The X5M offers better space and much more adequate suspension if you want an SUV. We hope to test it around September when the test fleet arrives. We’ve spoken to some of our bmw engineering friends who said that the Xdrive car is pretty impressive and the difference in the driving dynamics can only be felt on a track. Plus the weight penalty isn’t too noticeable.
@@FullThrottleWorld Definitely see the advantage of the X5M if SUV is required. I put a deposit on the M3 xDrive but I've only had the chance to drive an G82 M4. Kind of nervous to order a car without actually driving it but your insights are reassuring! I love that you offer technical credibility in addition to the slick presentation of your videos. You're on point with substance and style (great fashion sense 😎 lol) It's interesting that as more cars move towards AWD, only Audi, BMW and Subaru have seemed to consistently develop cars that benefit from the drivetrain format versus it being a detriment for most other manufacturers.
@@Kimchiguy79 Thank you for the kind words! To me at least, it really depends on what are you going to use the car for and where you live. If you are in California you really don’t need AWD, especially when the traction is so much better than the previous model. And if you’re buying this for a fun weekend summer car, also. However the new cars are big enough and practical for a daily driver and there the AWD (which can be turned to RWD) makes a lot of sense. The weight penalty is very little
Hi. I think the grill/ front looks great, agressive and out of my way mofos 🙊 And...honestly...big grills are on Audis, Lexus, Toyotas, and lots of others...why is this so different? 🤷🏼♂️

@@TeacherToolkitDemo Thank you very much for watching and for the support!
That grill doesn’t look so bad as long as there is a plate in the front.
We agree. It doesn't look bad without a number plate as well. Thanks for watching!
I got one in frozen orange but after seeing it in frozen grey it looks like im changing already. Great video
Yup, we think that's pretty much the best looking color! Go for it if you can. Thanks for watching!

You can mod it, but there isn’t a general option. A lot of people have been turning it down and it works.
Thank you very much for the support!
Grill looks great? You must be blind. This is the ugliest BMW ever, by far, this thing is a monstrosity
Another clown commenting on the grill after 2yrs. Always gotta be one you. Move on life continues
@@caribbeanseas That's the beauty of the car industry. There are enough models for everyone's taste.
honestly the car looks like its made for the military. theres something jet stealth fighter appreance to it.
