Online career mode needs to be a certainty, imagine being able to set up a lobby where you compete against your friends online with the same transfer market and same team in same league and play against eachother that would be insane
And maybe when you have only 1 device the screen splits to do both career and also most of 16 years old has a little brother that plays part of your time so then you can play together in career mode and maybe they not fight together Lol

I don't think people are going to confuse FIFA 2K with the game they played 5 years ago, I think it's pretty obvious. Having said that, it is the smart thing to do to take the name of a brand that has so much exposure; 2K was smart to continue to use the FIFA name. I'm hoping that with competition, it will force these two companies to deliver a product that appeals to the gaming community. All we want is good game play!

There’s a east workaround with licensing, PES allowed you to download the kits, squads ect the import them into your game, so you’d be able to update kits and such every season

I fully expect 2k to emphasize fluid and fun gameplay. Then do 2 modes that aren't UT. It will be there but it won't be in depth and complete year 1, no shot. My career is obvious. It has to be emphasis on some sort of team play mode as well.

I completely agree with you, as someone that plays Pro Clubs often, we’ve been getting the same game mode since inception. If 2K can do a better Pro Clubs mode, I’ll definitely make the switch, and I can guarantee you at least 5 or 6 of my buddies would do the same.
I think an underrated aspect about the potential 2k has with Career mode is how you can physically edit things mid-career mode. Not on MyPlayer but if you’re more of a manager career mode person, check out MyNBA or MyLeague on NBA 2k. You can edit teams, rosters, player attributes and potentials, player equipment, contracts, even your uniforms and stadiums seamlessly. There’s even a public forum where you can download other people’s designs into your own career mode. For example on my recent MyLeague save on 2k24 I downloaded a fictional roster and downloaded 36 college teams, created a player, player-locked to him and put him on a team for a sort of RP-type experience. This would be sick in FIFA 2k
its gonna stay in myNBA tho. if they do with the next nba 2k25,it could be the last 2k game evryone going to play. a free and fast way to get to a 99 in mycareer and with the equipements. no one gon buy the next game😂
Looking at NBA2K I look forward to a more realistic career mode in fifa. It would be brilliant if they added the same level of content interviews pre and post match paying attention to details in the season that would be brilliant.
I completely agree… maybe finding a way to get real manager voices. The technology is there… training cutscenes, more cutscenes during “transfer deadline day”. Little things like that.
A similar idea to “My Park” would be “jumpers for goalposts” which is a very old feature on a football/soccer game called This is Football, from the early 2000s and you could have school/college teams playing against eachother in a league competition which was quite fun. I’d love 2K to introduce a more in depth career mode experience that is comparable with games like football manager. No football/soccer console game comes close at the moment.
I hope that even if there are little to no licenses, we can still have community creations so people can make the kits and upload logos. Just like it is on NBA.
I’m so glad you talked about the career mode and the my player. For career mode 2k can just add stats and that makes the game automatically better. Stats meaning overall career stats and not just seasonal stats. For example it would be nice to hear the commentators acknowledge good players outside of the strikers. Show how many assist a player has id match. It would be nice if regens looked varied a bit more. Also the scripted goals have to go man. It’s one thing if the team is great at defending but the random goals of some guy who’s played 20 games and hasn’t scored but scores one me just to mess up my clean sheet is just nonsense
One thing i'm excited about is classic teams. NBA2K with like the Jordan Bulls or the Kobe Lakers is really good at that. Imagine the Ronaldinho Barca squad or the Galacticos or further back even. Would be so sick.
Topspin came out this year, and the VC was only for cosmetics. I think because they are new here, it'll be light on micros but slowly over the years get more aggro. Either way... I'm here for it!
the news just broke a few weeks ago, I highly doubt that they've been developing the game for months in secret, I don't think there'll be a 2K25 game, maybe they'll be ready by 2026, but maybe just a "half game" like a WC specific game only for first release to test the waters sort of, to get feedback. Developing a AAA game takes time, developing a football game from scratch will take even longer, with all the physics and ragdoll animations and collisions and stuff, yeah... so I don't expect this game soon :D
FIFA not having the license to leagues or clubs can easily be solved with an edit mode like in PES. Another, if using USB files is not a option, 2K has done a wonderful job with it's community creations in the WWE 2k series.

Ultimate team $100 gets you a couple promo packs and that’s it. Not enough to make a great team. You still have to grind. Where as a $100 build, you pretty much grind for bonuses. I don’t like spending extra but I’d rather spend on a my player I can use for career mode and clubs
I lost all my interest in Ultimate Team after fifa 17-18, all I want is a better Pro Clubs experience, that’s all I wanted from each release for over 10 years now, hopefully 2K can do something great with that

FIFA 10-12 had the nostalgia and early quality gameplay for me then imo the real updates came in 2017 and 2022.

Osm with carreer mode, going in the same league, everybody picks a team and play on certain dates against each other. you can transfer etc

probably wont read this as much but one thing i think would be so cool from 2k is how myteam works in the sense of when you get a card from a #8 kobe vs a #24 kobe stats and player models change.

Ultimate team $100 gets you a couple promo packs and that’s it. Not enough to make a great team. You still have to grind. Where as a $100 build, you pretty much grind for bonuses. I don’t like spending extra but I’d rather spend on a my player I can use for career mode and clubs

I lost all my interest in Ultimate Team after fifa 17-18, all I want is a better Pro Clubs experience, that’s all I wanted from each release for over 10 years now, hopefully 2K can do something great with that
