bro this "deep rooted problem with EA" has been present since 2018-2019 (in my opinion), personally I stopped playing after FIFA 21; as you say, the only way to solve the issue is to stop buying games that are bad, improperly made, glitchy, unfinish. Same issue exists with COD, of which I didn't buy MW3 (remember MW2 was meant to be a 2 year cod then changed there "DLC" into MW3), vanguard, infinite - as I thought they looked rushed, unfinished, etc. Simply, stop buying bad games, and bad games will stop being made.
Nah last good fifa game was 14...maddens been ass since 08 and I'm praying college football is legit
Fair point, in the last few years it definitely feels like triple A games are not only rushed, but forced out to hit deadlines.

I’m still playing FIFA 13 to this day. I couldn’t stand the modern FIFAs anymore after 19 came out. Still get that same rush playing it when I was younger lol.

My problems with FC24
1. When i get a counter attack, strikers just blindly run into offsides like a headles chicken. The ai is so dumb! they just cant run on the offside line.
2. For whatever reason, players always take an etra touch before a shot or a pass.
3. My players some how always pass the ball too close to oponents even if there is ample space.
4. Keepers can save almost every close range shot but will let a not so powerful outside the box shot into the net.
5. My defender suddenly becom immoble when the opponent is doing twists aand turns around my 18rd box.
6. Through balls have become quite a chore and players just cant pass the ball into space.
7. Switching to the right player while defeding is a nightmare.
Awful game, horrendous game play, so many glitches, and I still have no idea why they combined men and women in ultimate team... You're buzzing thinking you've packed player of the season Haaland and it's some bloody female Brighton player

something I absolutely hate in the next gen era (ps5 xbx) is EA decided to add a weird limitation to defenders, where they simply will not sprint until it's too late. So if a fast winger is running at you, your defender does this extremely low jog until the winger is level with you, then your defender will begin to run. It's just madness, it didn't exist up until 21,I don't know who thought that was a good idea to give fast attackers an even bigger advantage
Indeed, it’s a shiit game with bad AI mechanism and we know that Maldini is the goat of all defenders but still I don’t know how my Maldini 94 rated is not better than Virgil Van Djik in game🤡 we play this game for the sake of love for Football but in the market we don’t have any options rather than plying this EAFC shiit🥹
The problem is that people still pay for this shit. My friend said the games never been worse but still spent £100 on ultimate team. I said thats the problem then

It’s not even a proper boycott, they’re all still playing it, just not going to the store. That’s so weak.
It’s not weak, actually it’s the best decision if they want to improve the games overall state. The goal isn’t to try and kill the game it’s for change due to ea focusing on their micro transactions than actual gameplay. All they care about is money, it will be a long effort to force ea out of this mindset probably even many years but it’s a start.

Gave up the game in 22 ..saw it coming...also i never understood why the game is already 50$ and still need 100$ maintenance every 2 week to stay in meta..at this point it's pay 2 win which is very bad for gaming.. don't play p2w games guys or else all future games wud end up like mobile games
I played fifa 24 and FUT for 3 months, built a decent team. But once I realised how the gameplay is so bad and everyones doing the same unrealistic meta spam crap left to right, trivella shot etc nonsense I stopped and havent loaded the game since. Playing efootball now which isnt perfect by any means but its fun, and you can play in more realistic and varied styles. It really is crazy how football is the biggest game in the world yet we have to put up with games of this quality.

Weird opinion but to me the Switch fifas are a lot better than any version of EAFC. It's the xbox 360/ps3 engine still and because they had so much time with it it's a lot more polished

Basically pirate the paid games from ea so they must force to change their product to a better product which means that people will want to pay money for something better than a pirated version

Yeah EA has been locked in on college football ( American football) and as long as that isn’t a flop which it won’t be, this boycott is gonna say stay in the UK😭 fifa isn’t even a top 4 sports game in the US just like soccer isn’t a top 5 played sport here.

FIFA has always been super greedy and trash when it comes to online gameplay. You see FIFA 14 as okay because of nostalgia, it was likely one of the first FIFA games you played consistently. Others older than you might say the last good FIFA was 08, since after that Ultimate Team was introduced and the developers' focus shifted exclusively to squeezing money from users through microtransactions and addictive packs.

Dude .. the moment you say "this tells us they have a way to manipulate" ... I stop listening. WTF. I'm a dev. I can manipulate everyhitng I want in my software. Of course they do, why do you even say stuff like this?
You wanna know what happened? Someone probably introduced a bug on the server and miscaculated chances. Or someone inputing chances made a manual mistake. Or something like this. Stuff like this happens all the time with every piece of software. It's not about the mistake or "having a way to manipulate". It's about handling a mistake. You're waaaay off

They could have left the rewards the same for the weekend so everyone had a fair chance at getting good picks, but they flat out refused to do so, which makes it unfair. If we’re talking about how they “handled their mistake”, well that was a shitshow as well.

@@allegrifan4933 You got me wrong, this is not defending them in any shape or form. I play FIFA/FC for over 25 years, this game is trash for the last couple of years and I'm mad at them. I think they are incompetent AF. Even if they weren't there would still be screwups, and the important thing is how you handle them. They keep on doing it the wrong way
