Thank you for showing how to wrap something without foam backing and also starting from the inside rather than the outside.

Very nice job man, I am looking to refinish my boat interior and this makes it look easier than it is, I have done some stuff But I never used glue, I think that will make it much easier....thank you.

Thank you for this video! I'm making a shelf-scratching posts for our cat at a window that has a forced air vent below it. I needed to cut out the cat tree base to allow the hot air to pass through and into the room and wanted to cut the carpet so that the sides of the plywood would be covered and couldn't see a way to do it. I couldn't experiment because I didn't have any carpet left. Making the cut as you showed in your video was exactly the way that it needed to be done for my project even though I was using carpet with minimal flex.

Thanks so much for sharing your ideas! I’m making a fishing rod holder which has a lot of circular holes, and I’m covering it with vinyl.
I was doing it right, but since it’s my first time doing this I wanted to make sure it turned out right the first time.

How do you upholster the hole if there is foam on the wood, especially if the hole width is less than the foam width? There's not enough material to pull through the hole.
