I’m watching a lot of these and guys aren’t getting open. That play you were talking about at 11:30, Hooper got undercut. That would’ve been a bad result. When they get open they’re open for a one second window and then he has to hope it’s in sync with his progression.

I like your breakdown, however I think you’re being really really really critical of a young kid that has just played his first couple snaps in the NFL. You keep mentioning the veteran quarterback would do this and do that he’s a rookie so he’s not going to get everything correct right away. Also he moved the ball 1, million times better than Jacoby did all night and that one drive. Also he had 34 total yds on that drive Jacoby had 98 yds throughout the entire game besides that last couple minutes.

They need to bench Jacoby Brissett and put in Drake Maye for the rest of the season. Just use RBs to block and mix in the run game. Crazy to leave in Brissett , they can get to the playoffs with Maye.

Appreciate your analysis. I disagree though. Maye is ready. Regardless of how bad that drive looked, miraculously he drove down to the endzone and was about to score the only touchdown....imagine a full week practice and a full game.... he's ready, the team's ready and we're all ready! How tdo you get ready? By playing the game. If you noticed he looked calm, start the kid if you want to win. Losers sit winners play. Just my opinion
If the O line was competent, Drake would be starting.
@Launya420 im pretty sure mayo proved to everyone by playing maye in that game that he's not waiting on an o line.... he let the kid go out n get rocked. So must be a different reason. Well at least that's my opinion. I'm also in the opinion of trial by fire 🔥....toughness is an important trait and also if you can learn in a bad situation then you will be better in a better situation. Good players or legendary players will make it happen no matter the excuse and if not then it makes them work harder.
I was begging the patriots to draft Drake over Caleb and Jaden. I think he will be a stud for so many years, and the patriots should start him against Chicago. Think about the headlines if Drake’s first game is against Caleb and Drake beats him. Jaden has the potential to be great as well. I’m just concerned about him getting injured a lot and that affecting his career. Drake is a monster and he’s just going to keep getting bigger, faster and stronger.
