My guess is maybe people are laundering money by putting it into CS accounts that they can use to farm cases like people were doing with keys years ago? Thats the only thing I can think of that makes sense otherwise this is just another dumb restriction to the market added by valve that makes zero sense.

that account has to be market enabled, so 5 bucks needs to be added, which can add up for the farmers having dozens of accounts

Helps a little for the cheater problem. But g2a and steam gift cards are the next meta… sadly you can never get rid of this side of blatant cheats. They will never accept a loss, we are talking about people willing to cheat or desperate enough to cheat in a video game…. Even valve devs are closet fraudsters themselves..

It's nothing like fortnite, and it goes to show you never really played it. It's fast paced and without knowing the basics of using bumpines and surfing you'd absolutely get sheet on by most people on high ranks, even if you're lvl10. It didn't have that big of a playerbase, but calling it Fortnite is straight it foul because still a lot of people enjoyed playing it.
