8:39 These are called Rotary Rasp File Bits. They are used for de-burring, shaping and grooving. De-burring; as in after you have drilled a hole in metal use these bits to smooth over the edges of the hole and remove burrs.

16:27, 23 ~ ⚠️ I had bought this hole-cutter [12inch width] and had an accident with it - I wanted to cut a hole in an acrylic sheet, so me and dad went to the patio and set up the cutter in a mains drill and the work-mate and clamped the sheet in it, and started cutting it, unfortunately the acrylic sheet cracked and made it useless for my intended purpose, and dad wasn’t impressed with the cutter; “does this actually work”? he said, and went to the DIY shed and got a wood micro-particle board and clamped it into the work-mate and started cutting it, as I had not properly tightened the blades to the T-shaft = one flew off and hit a finger on my hand (the finger is slightly swollen from the injury) if I had also bought the transparent bell-guard the accident wouldn’t have happened, the cutting have been a lot more steady/straight. The guard is a safety accessory sold with the cutter/separate, 2 sizes, it will steady the cutter if doing free-hand (unlike in this video), the debris/swalf made will be caught by the guard and in particular, if cutting a hole in a ceiling - you will not be showered with the debris ~ it will be “cleanly” caught in the guard

For the first one, to clean up the threaded bar, I used to just screw on a nut past where I was cutting then wind it flush up to the cut, quick file to take off the "stub of thread". Then when you take off the nut it deburrs it
