Hey Mario, what is the source for that chart you showed with the time periods and percentages until 6 years? My wife is Danish, and our son just turned 1. With the new law going into effect next year, I want to be sure we will not receive less as I myself have only lived in DK for 2.5 years...

The benefits I mention in this video are independent of paternity/maternity leave. You'll get them automatically if your child is born in DK, otherwise you need to do some paperwork.

Hello,can one parent sign for the new born baby certificate, if the other parent is far or living in another country? My girlfriend just gave birth, she's a African but a Denmark citizen, I live in Germany?
@@MarioScianHQ okay if you say so, but it's misleading to claim what you are saying. I am a father of 3 children, who all 3 live at their mother's address, and I have to pay for the allowance, since our household has been divided. And if they were to live with me, the situation would be reversed. It's actually regulated by what income both parents have, and quite often they simply take away your custody, so I am actually paying the exact amount you made a calculation for+ a extra 130 kr pr child, in addition because of the custody fee. And I can assure you the money I pay, doesn't grow on trees.
If you don't have kids, still pay attention to those four dates. Don't go shopping on these dates. The malls are full. 😉

Sorry but you need to address the issue with divorce, because if you are a father and you get a divorce, then the picture is quite different..
