  • After a year we're finally getting started on a few of the larger projects around the shed. We've laid down mulch and landscape fabric and NOW we're building a 9x9 paver patio. This is going to be a sweet little spot for my bistro table and umbrella... a space for breaks and snacks!

Kudos to you and your mom not only finding a great way to repurpose materials, but also for working in this HEAT. ☀. I live in NC, and early this AM I went out and pulled some weeds, and within 20 minutes I was sweating!! Love your projects!!

OK, finished the Vid. ❤❤❤ That was a lot of work, emptying the courtyard of those Pavers! Kudos to y'all! All looks great, my only concern is that the mulch won't hold the pavers in place, what with the rain, walking on the patio, etc. Only time will tell. All in all, you three can be proud of what you've accomplished! P.S. Your Mom's friend has a superb place! What we saw of it.

I used finer sand in between my Pavers. However, Polymeric Sand may be your thing. My spaces between 40cm pavers is small so I just brush more fine sand over and into them periodically. Another thing, I haven't yet watched all, is either a type of edging that you'll spike into the ground to hold in the pavers or a cement edging all around. That too depends on your whole make up. 4th year of my 3x5 meter patio and constantly pulling random baby weeds out, even in Winter. Gotta keep on it! Now to go watch all of your vid...
