Still one of the best Em verses I have heard but people forget how busy 50 got before he became a mogul/troll lmao. He gives me chills when listening to his 2nd verse, he's just grimy af on this. Great vid, can't believe this is your first time hearing it. You've really been missing out.
The most special about Em's verse is that there are at least 21 different schemes are in it and that is without the schemes you can at with Em's wordplay how he is pronouncing the words.
The gangsta theme in in Hip Hop has been done a thousand times over but it’s something about that Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album that is so authentic. You can tell he ain’t just rapping, 50 been through it for real 💯
"Shady Records was 80 seconds away from the towers some cowards fucked with the wrong building, they meant to hit ours" 💣💥🔥 that's the Eminem i used to love to listen to. 50 went in too 🔥 50 Cent & Eminem was my introduction to rap music. Get Rich Or Die Trying is on of the first albums I've heard so it holds a special place in my heart!
Eminem is one of the greatest ever and when he collabs with 50 it’s a guaranteed banger. You should do either The Re-Up (Eminem ft. 50) or Never Enough (Eminem ft. 50 cent, Nate Dogg) next.
FACTS….When he Collab with a G-Unit member he GOOOOOO!!! But when he’s in the studio alone or with D12 lol that’s when those weird ass songs come out 😅😅😅😅😅
I remember standing in line at the club for this album release party. That was the coldest I’ve EVER been in my life & the 1st time I paid $50 to get in a club in Richmond (VA). The good ol’ days
Em went through a Superhero’s life. The #1 Selling Artist period of the 00’s. Like Harvey said “You either die and become a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain”
THIS was the song that SOLIDIFIED Eminem for me (and I'm a lot of others. Lol) Thanks for finally posting this one. It's always great to see someone see FIRE! ☺
Em produce or make beats for songs like Renegate for Jayz,The way i am,Ghetto Gospel on 2pac album,Smack that for Akon, the song featuring 2pac and Biggie i forget what this song is called he also produce for Gunit he is really underrated as a producer
This was during Eminems run when he was not only unstoppable, but the greatest run ever! Every single song he was featured on he not just murdered, but he made the song his. This is one of Ems greatest verses... he absolutely bodied this one.
Being a 12 year old when this dropped and hearing that line about the twin towers on hot 97, as a new yorker, was literally the wildest shit i had ever heard and probably havent heard wilder since.
Nah man the best lime gotta be “shady records was 80 seconds away from the towers , some cowards fucked with the wrong building they meant to hit our”……this shit was less than 2 years after 9/11 😂😂😂
That’s one of my fav lines in hip hop !!! “Shady records was 80 seconds away from towers, them cowards fuck with wrong building they meant to hit ours” . . That 9/11 reference was so crazy and it had just happened too !!! 🙏🏾🔥
Don’t sleep on 50 he can get super lyrical I remember back in the day he was more lyrical and every now and then he’ll do it and his hooks are always on point. 🔥🔥🔥 aftermath and G Unit-shady records were on top of everything back then 💯 M has some nice production. If you look around, you can find it.
Eminem's 2nd and 3rd albums are classics. Straight no chaser. He was in a zone. His prime years contributions should be praised. But much of the hate that Em gets is 2 prong. 1) it stems from a lot (and not all) of his obnoxious fanbase, who thinks he reinvented the rap wheel and are not so much hip-hop fans, but Eminem fans. Of course, that's not Em's fault. Dude is pretty humble and just keeps his head down. His Stans also act like the music Em has been putting out over the 10 plus years has been exceptional. It hasn't. 2)The talk that he's the best to ever do it, without understanding that a part of his huge COMMERCIAL success (the Em Stans love bringing up his massive record sales as some proof that he's better than his peers who happen to be Black) where he was getting played on white rock stations and pop stations during the late '90s and early 00's was because he was white, a point Em made on his own records. It's just Black folks reacting to the Elvis syndrome of how Em is presented to the world. And again, that's not Em's fault.
Its become a popular thing to hate on Em. Even if you think he fell off (which i disagree with btw) that doesnt take away from all the classic records he got. Put respect on that man's name.
50 and Em got a lot of records together but this is probably my favorite....oh and We All Die One Day off Obie Trice album. Yeah l don't get the Em hate either...l mean l do and l don't his content isn't for everyone and he's not trying to make club records or trap music. All l know is all the GOATS have him in their top 10, most in their top 5 and he got millions of fans that's good enough imo
man listen...Eminem is beyond tough...his word play goes over most people head so they call it trash lol...I know you've heard the song Stan before but trust me listen to it now and then play the song Bad Guy...that is story telling rap right there...some people had no clue Bad Guy is basically the continuation from Stan lol...
What I love about this song is you can def tell he was a huge influence on Griselda. The bridge before the 2nd 50 verse now reminds me so much of Conway or Westside Gunn just without the boom boom boom boom BOOM!!! I love everything Griselda but again, you can def hear it. You should listen to "City on the Map" by Conway and 50 if you haven't heard it already
Em is nice!!! Personally I think the EMINEM SHOW on the whole was his best album. Yes, his beats have a very distinct sound, that doesn't make them bad (not all of them)
I watched a reaction earlier from a couple younger guys for this song and seeing all of them have no reaction at all to the towers line was wild. They just had no idea how hard that line was at the time 😞
Eminem has always gotten hate from people who dont understand shock rap. But I feel the hate got stronger becauss he came out with Kamikaze and started dissing the mumble rappers 😂 fans of those who got hit definitely hate him, and this is why they push back on him. Eminem is a living legend. He doesn't need to work any longer but he still makes music because he loves the game so much. Huge respect.
Marshall Mathers on the beat! Good stuff Nephew! I can't wait to listen to Viktor Vaughn (MFDOOM) Vaudeville Villain with you and rest of the Maad Gang! Peace! 👍
I don’t care what nobody say, people ask me who my top 5 is I always say Eminem #1 after that it’s whatever you wanna do. But Em the goat in my eyes I don’t care
Me being 36 ive been a fan of Em' since the beginning and i fully agree he aint on the level making the same ammount of hits anymore. As you say he still offc make good music still but its just not the same.. You should do some Eminem Show reactions, for me the best album hes had.
Em made this beat too? 🤦🏾♂️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🐐
Yeah, he's an underrated producer. Cause ppl don't be knowing a lot of the beats he do.
yeah. He produced much 50 Cent tracks
Yessirrrr
Bingo 😁
Yep that's why 50 says in the beginning "Em I owe you for this one"
Still one of the best Em verses I have heard but people forget how busy 50 got before he became a mogul/troll lmao. He gives me chills when listening to his 2nd verse, he's just grimy af on this. Great vid, can't believe this is your first time hearing it. You've really been missing out.
💯
The most special about Em's verse is that there are at least 21 different schemes are in it and that is without the schemes you can at with Em's wordplay how he is pronouncing the words.
This was the song Eminem introduced 50 with. It’s a dope song.
Still blows my mind Em signed 50 on when everyone else blackballed him. Em has an eye to recognize talent.
The gangsta theme in in Hip Hop has been done a thousand times over but it’s something about that Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album that is so authentic. You can tell he ain’t just rapping, 50 been through it for real 💯
Definitely. Read his autobiography “from pieces to weight” if you haven’t. It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read.
Em ending his verse with “yall bout to witness the POWER of fkn 50” …that bar becoming a double entendre years later is fkn wiilllld lol
Damn
"Shady Records was 80 seconds away from the towers
some cowards fucked with the wrong building, they meant to hit ours" 💣💥🔥 that's the Eminem i used to love to listen to. 50 went in too 🔥
50 Cent & Eminem was my introduction to rap music. Get Rich Or Die Trying is on of the first albums I've heard so it holds a special place in my heart!
last of the gangsta rappers i soooo miss it
facts em was definitely at his best in 02 and 03
Im going to a 50 concert in August for the 20th anniversary for this album, cant wait!!
im going on the 11th cant wait fr fr
Eminem is one of the greatest ever and when he collabs with 50 it’s a guaranteed banger. You should do either The Re-Up (Eminem ft. 50) or Never Enough (Eminem ft. 50 cent, Nate Dogg) next.

they got a fire song with obie trice as well
I've said this before but gangster Em is one of his most underappreciated and underused lanes. When he's with 50 he usually brings it out.
Warriors Part 2, we all die one day, the difference between me and you... Good ones
@@SkaiSantanabro did not just diss the Eminem show and mmlp like that…..bruh you’re on crack
I remember standing in line at the club for this album release party. That was the coldest I’ve EVER been in my life & the 1st time I paid $50 to get in a club in Richmond (VA). The good ol’ days
Not the most complex line but when he said 50 fears no man warrior swing swords like Connan , you felt that shit
I play this song damn near every day. This, What Up Gangsta, and 50's Dipset Anthem Freestyle.
This is a classic🔥
You should definitely review the pre-GRODT mixtapes like 50 Cent is The Future, Guess Who’s Back etc.
That's a good idea, alot of ppl haven't heard those.
Em went tf off on this mf. I know you gone do an album reaction for this one. Salute.
Em produce or make beats for songs like Renegate for Jayz,The way i am,Ghetto Gospel on 2pac album,Smack that for Akon, the song featuring 2pac and Biggie i forget what this song is called he also produce for Gunit he is really underrated as a producer

Em went way 2 far so fireeee "mix some big and some pac put some big l on the top wtf do you got" that wordplay 4:17
Man! 🔥🔥🔥
That's that big L punchline flow
This album classic
I think Eminem made this beat. And 50's line "God's the seamstress who tailore fitted my pain" is the best line in this song imo.
Yes Eminem produced this song
Nah man the best lime gotta be “shady records was 80 seconds away from the towers , some cowards fucked with the wrong building they meant to hit our”……this shit was less than 2 years after 9/11 😂😂😂
Classic!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🫡
Eminem produced Patiently Waiting
Shoutout to em 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think Em made this beat. And i think he did the other beat and feature he did on this album. Dont Push Me. Correct me if im wrong though.
Don't Push Me is my ish.

The whole 2001-2003 year was Eminem's peak. Renegade with Jay Z, 8 Mile the film, The Eminem Show, 8 Mile soundtrack.
Two legends on a track. Fitting too since they just dropped the expendable 4 trailer w 50
We been patiently waiting for this reaction
Damn I ain't heard this since I was like 13, I been sleeping on old 50 and Em. This was a golden era of rap.
