yo the red subie is kendalls! ive met him a few times at subarus groups in the past. taht car is so cool. hes done so much just developing stuff at home!
Got to see it at Midwest & it was a monster .. even if he did pretty much work on it the whole weekend ha ... I got some shots of you shooting this car.
Hey.. ive noticed that he ran on stock caster.. what he needs to improve front grip,... Get the whiteline anti lift kit for front LCA bush, 05 sti alloy front LCA, and rotate the front cambe plate so the adjustment range facing the firewall of the car for more caster.. netting around 6-7degree of total caster.. Just about the right amount for the best entry and mid corner grip...
@@derricksteffen3722 on a Subaru it's a must. Our suspension doesn't have crap for camber gain. Boatloads of caster and camber are always the recipe for us.
There was this guy.... (ok expecting an interesting reference to someone relatively unknown) ..... called Colin McCrae..... (literally one of the most successful and well known rally drivers in history) Americans when they talk about something or someone that isn't American.
@@DeweyWRX haha I feel bad now, was just trying to poke a bit of fun at America. In the UK (and probably a quite a bit of Europe) Colin McCrae is a household name. BTW the EJ207 came in the UK market STIs up until the Hawkeye and later models and I think possibly same is true for a lot of Europe. Lots of people avoid the EJ257 engined cars here cause of the poor reliability but also as a result we see a lot of higher power builds using EJ257s as once it goes bang people are already spending a lot of money to rebuild so they use it as an excuse to go mad.
@@TheRZBM I was a bit squeezed for time so I kept it simple lol. Yeah here in the US people can be pretty dense. When you talk about rally most of them think of Ken Block. When you talk about racing of any form it usually goes to NASCAR. Motorsports here is kinda broken. You are either about it or not. If you aren't you know borderline nothing.
Yep it is interesting as I wouldn't say I'm a proper motorsports fan but I've heard of a lot of American nascar and racing drivers even though I don't watch or follow it. Guess it's just how US focused global culture is we know and hear a lot about your country. Here motorsports is quite mainstream due to F1 etc so even someone like my mum knows what's going on with F1 but she doesn't even have a drivers license. It's weird the US never got into rallying as you guys have so much free space and seem to love off-roading in general whenever I see videos from America it looks like a petrol heads playground. Here in UK you pretty much only get in to rallying at a serious level if you own a farm or a field and learn to drive and old banger round it from a young age.
Im willing to bet my 02 wrx is louder. Has an ej207 and a crawford exhaust i won 2016 Wicked Big Meets exhaust comp at 130db. Rn the car is down tho with a blown headgasket. Engine was stock too other than an intake exhaust and tune.
One common misconception is that every Impreza between 92-01 were "GC8's". The code breakdown is as follows; G - stands for Impreza, C - sedan, M - coupe, F - station wagon, The 8 stands for the 2.0 L turbo motor. So really, there are many combinations. A coupe STi would be GM8, sedan GC8, wagon GF8. Also, the code for the American coupe 2.5RS's were GM6 (6 standing for the 2.5 L N/A motor)

Dewey Dewit is the most NASCAR name ever
Pretty sure this is actually one of the responses in the "find your nascar name" quiz on facebook
I'll take it.
He'd definitely be sponsored by mountain dew with a name like that 🤣
@@Matty.Hill_87 I need to look into that lol.

Video turned out great! Six star in da house 🤘🏽
Great video. I really appreciate the thought that went into developing the car. The owner's energy is great too.
Thanks :). It was a LOT of work not only by me but the rest of Six Star Motorsports as well.

This thing is so cool. I wonder how that turbo would do on the street. Not many people build 2 litres. They should tho.
Let’s all agree to just top-mount all the wings from now on.

Eyyy, hell yeah!
Just wanted to know his alignment specs
In the pic it's about -4.2 in the front and -3.8 in the rear. Slight toe out in the front and zero toe in the rear.
More camber always better for track subarus? People think I'm crazy when I tell them i run 3 degrees front and 2.75 rear.
