Harry Nilson just recorded it and Midnight Cowboy made it well known . When you have a chance, I suggest you listen to Fred Neil's version; his voice is grittier and more soulful.
I love how you play this song. Looks doable for me with 1 year ukulele practice. I will try it. It is more difficult to play than I thought it would be. But, now that I realized the strum is the Island Strum merely arranged in 3 blocks of 2 instead of 2 blocks of 3 strums it is getting less difficult to play.
Thanks for this, I am ok with the chords but as always I struggle with the strumming pattern, it all just sounds the same , Which it clearly is not. You play and sing beautifully .
