God I miss this band so much. I saw them several times in the early/mid 00s, sometimes in front of less than 50 people, but every concert was electric with people jumping around, crowd surfing, and just having fun. I even hung out with Tank (the drummer) once and his personality is exactly the same as you might guess from this video.
It’s sad that Zolof never hit the “big time”. I thought their recordings were top-notch and Rachel is a great singer (as well as a cutie pie). They seemed to have what it takes and even had a unique niche, but they came up short. Tisk tisk tisk! 💸
I've heard this song before, but I've never watched the video or looked up what they look like, and holy smokes, Rachel Minton is as adorable as her voice is. Honestly it's one of those rare times where the voice totally matches the face. And the song is great. I'm gonna go find out what I've been missing out on by binging their whole catalog.
