When I first heard it i couldn’t tell what was verse , pre chorus or chorus but more i listened to it it kinda grew on me especially after her live performance in London. She is a walking bomb with full of energy she makes the song work basically.
I agree with your opinion, you analyze the structure of the song very well. Βut I believe, that because her voice is incredible and the song has a good dynamic, she will win over people who don't know much about music. :)
Well, too much yeah u are rigth, but they did gratw Job!!! This is so dope dude, there is so many things happing that u realease after listen again again
@@TheMuserResolute Hey, I don't blame you - it took me a while to go from "this is too much, it comes on strong and never lets up, my ears are burning 😏" to "put out the 🔥, rum tum te-ruh-ruh-ruh" 😂 It's always a pleasure to watch your videos! 🙌
I didn't really think about it, but I actually completely see your point and I agree (re: everything being bigger than the chorus). Great job, as always! I love your reviews!! :)
Love the review! I kinda think it would be better if they brought the chorus down even more, actually, because the contrast there would grip you in, giving a reprieve where you don't expect it. Think System of a Down's "Chop Suey!", the quick shifts in energy leading to an ending that melds it all together is what makes it so memorable.
Well said, agree completely. It doesn't build because there is nothing you can build to anymore, it's on max level from the beginning and it gets repetitive because your ears get used to it quickly.
Yup! It was really a let down. I love Georgia every year because they send something different and unique. It’s like they don’t care about winning a competition, but want to challenge listeners. This year I feel like they fell into the hole so many have, trying to smash out something big rather than genuine
I think on stage this song will be completely different, I personally listen to it in one breath and didn’t think about it, everyone has their own taste.
The first thing I thought of when I heard this was that she was throwing random stuff at the song in order to show off her vocals, to impress the televote. However, I think thats great! It's a great method in Eurovision, as most people don't know much about music. As someone who doesn't know much about music either, this is my top 1 this year. That proves that it really helps! (the rehearsal helped as well,)
Ohh very interesting! Thank you for your input. I am excited to see this live. As you can tell, I'm a little disappointed as Georgia brings something so authentically interesting every year. This, to me, made it look like they have given up. Believe it or not, Georgia 2018 was amongst my favourite that year!
@@TheMuserResolute It's really interesting because this is considered Georgia's best entry in years, and is not even expected to make top 15. I'm glad you have a unique opinion though, it makes your videos more interesting to watch.
Thank you! I did think I would cop more backlash than I have, which I’m very pleasantly surprised by. I haven’t looked at other reactions. What’s the general “reactor” consensus?
@@TheMuserResolute Well, it depends, but most people who watch Eurovision know little to nothing about music. Usually, they enjoy the songs I call "troll" songs that only try to buy votes from the public and not from the juries, like it was with Cha Cha Cha last year and this year with Europapa. That's mostly what they enjoy, but sometimes even traditional songs (Greece, Armenia) or songs with great vocals (Georgia)
I actually appreciate the unique structure of the song, so many compositions are cookie-cutter for Eurovision entries (verse chorus verse bigger chorus bridge biggest chorus) and this one was definitely a bit different. She is an incredible live performer and the song is very powerful. I concede that in terms of DYNAMICS, the song suffers a bit because she's full throttle from the start, but I don't agree with your view of the structuring of the song taking away from the chorus etc.
It’s kind of like a whole set of musical devices strung together without much meaning…. I think you’re being very kind about it. BTW, I tune in for your reviews, not because of liking or disliking the songs. Thanks 🙏🏼
Frankly talking i only remebered three song eurovision, nutsa who has the best vocals n the song though im not fan of pop music id rather listen to pink floyd led zappelin n old school there r many others and armenia and greece, my respect to others but i cant even rememver other songs
I love Nutsa to bits, as a singer and as a person so I'm willing myself to like this song. I hope she will qualify for the final, but the song quality doesn't match her quality as the singer. I also saw a producer rate the mixing and mastering of the song that it is the loudest out of all songs in this year's Eurovision. So it's like they are trying too hard to make an impact! It has grown on me, but I really wish she had a better song to show off her skills.
I just found your videos so I'm late but I felt the same about Tattoo last year. It was just too similar for the whole song so it was loud but bland at the same time. Tattoo was a scream ballad to my untrained ear and Firefighter is a scream bop but a least with the courtesy of a dance break. Both obviously talented singers but the song structures were not appealing to me.
I knew you aren't gonna like it from the start. This song is really confusing for me too. I'm usually cool with Georgian entries, but this one seems to be all over the place when I heard it. Nutsa has definitely proven herself in a lot of competitions already hence the big expectations before the release of the song. When the song is released though, it was at least kinda disappointing for me. Her vocals is going to be great live, for sure. That'll make up for it.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I really thought it was just me with this opinion and that maybe I was missing something. So glad to see there are others who can relate! There’s no doubt that she’s an incredible vocalist, so this may connect with audiences through that, as you suggest.
Your ranting about the weird structure was way more entertaining than the song itself 🤣 This is the kind of a song I could use in the background to drown out some annoying sounds, as it just keeps going full on without any sudden breaks or silent moments, yet doesn't grab my attention at any point. The singer is really good, but the song is nothing special.
Haha yeh I had a lot of fun ranting about it 😆 thanks as always. I did think I’ll be annoying more people with my opinion so I’m glad to know that many share the same view and it’s not just me!

Yes I really want Georgia to succeed, but I don't think this is the way. Especially this year when there are a lot of unique entries with personality.
I think on stage this song will be completely different, I personally listen to it in one breath and didn’t think about it, everyone has their own taste.
please analyse her rehearsal and acoustic version

Absolutely! She seems like such a great artist who couldn’t show off her versatility here

I kinda like it, she kills it live, but it feels like my ears just get bored of it, no build-up at all.
Hi dude.
Eden Golan, Huricane please 👋
I second this!
How can something be too big?!😭
