I love the fuel tank man don't question your decision! Keeps the bike rooted to its heritage and its age also, good on you man, this has been a sweet build :)
The way that Honda brown color fades to green is really beautiful.
The tank patina rocks and really suits the era of the bike.
Maybe throw a coat of poly on the tank.
Thanks
@@frankleis2200 for what?
love the tank, the colors on their are amazing.
Personally, not a huge fan of the tank, but that doesn’t matter. When you build, you do it for yourself. If you’re happy than others should be happy for you. Great build.
Taylor puts in the work ! five out of five
Please put together some kits of your specialized tools for us minions. I'm tired of using sub-par equipment. Thanks!
Tank fits beautifully to the bike. Awesome built. Love your channel because you´re a good mechanic and a good designer.
your vision, for the bike is cool. love the tank
Your channel inspired me to start my own Cafe Racer project, a '78 Honda CB550, and this project by far is my favorite from all the builds so far. Well done, truly, well done
Love all the episodes of this build! Made me feel as if I were there. Great job on a beautiful bike! Can't believe you built this entire bike in that amount of time and edited the video in the process!! Two thumbs up bro! Look forward to more content!
Yeah man the patina is priceless.
That tank looks like hell dude, I love it!! :)
Just bought a 72 cb500 today and you just helped me decide to keep the tank as is. Great looking bike.
Enjoyed the 7 day challenge. Bought a £50 CB 550 project a year ago. As you can imagine I have a lot to do and have found your videos really helpful. Many thanks.
The tank looks really good
Love the sound of the exhaust !!!, Great job in 7 day's 👍👍
dude, i love it. i'm with you on the patina thing. my first vehicle was a '53 chevy 3100 5 window i bought out of my uncle's cow pasture for $15, and fixed up. right now i have a '54 5600 5 window grain truck that sat next to a barn all of it's life with only 36,000 miles. i'm trying to decide exactly what to do with it, rat or restore, but a repaint is not in it's future.
It turned out awesome. love the sound.
Nicely done. I, too am stoked about this build!
Great job, watched all of the series upload. Thanks for sharing. Appreciated.
That 04 Yellow Jacket was my favorite part of the series!
Old time subscriber of yours here. Glad you kept the old tank, really gives the bikes it charm to be honest. And almost, you've really surpassed yourself on this project. It kinda reminds me of the brat project you did a while ago! Good job Taylor.
Fantastick, 7 days. looks good.
Killer build and series man! Seriously appreciate you sharing and this is a really sick bike.
I love the stylistic choice you made with this bike, especially the gas tank!!
Watched the entire series. I can't believe you pulled it off in a week, mad props. Love the channel.
What !!!
This is edited.....could have taken 4 months....!
Love this build! Keep it up👌👌👌
Love the tank.
Brilliant decision, Taylor. Love the tank!
Great job man
That's a win for me, especially the tank option which is perfect
Turned out awesome!!
Love the tank & yes I think your crazy!
Love the tank. Loved the build. Great job 🤙
Love the tank.
Boom! Great work! 👏👏👏
Nice build Taylor, I like everything you have done, except for the indicator's, Go to Motone customs, get some lovely billet ones that go with the rear light. Gas / fuel tank looks cool, right decision, its unique. I would also fit a front fender/ mudguard, but that's a personal choice.
Great series!! Enjoyed all the insights and comments on each session. Did a great job! Wish I had the time and resources you have at your disposal. Good luck in your new venture!! Cheers!
What a machine!
Love the tank, love the bike! Keep doing what you do.
You should do a before and after at the end of each completed build
im full agree with you about the gas tank
it comes amazing good job
restoration of everything
Absolutely we'll done. Love the tank and everything bout the build. Superb. Def bar end mirrors. Wish I was in USA - Would have instantly bought that. Look forward to he next one......?
very nice bike build the final product looks great
Also dig the "Arc de Soleil" groove...
Keep the tank as is. It's a classic, not a ricky-racer wanna-be...
Good video. In a future video you may want to explain/show how a relay works.
You can never have too many relays! lol
If this was in the UK I would buy it, I love the tank and the build looks great.
Well done, the bike looks and runs great, looking forward to the next project.
The build turned out great! Love the 1 week format, I really looked forward to seeing progress each day. Good luck on the sale, I'm sure you'll have no problem!
nice job. sweet bike
Great job, the bike looks awesome, really looked forward to the daily updates!
Love the whole build mate awesome work can you ship to Australia 😂.
Great job, man. It's beautiful and I love the tank!
Great Bike! Congratulations, well done!
Great job! Would like to see SOMEONE address a non-working fuel gauge sometime.
you should name it "Dragonfly", looks like one, very nice build 🤘
Not a fan of the tank - mostly because I hate the color. Its easy to swap out tough. I have a CB360 that I have a 2nd Navy Blue tank and tan seat option for that makes the bike look completely different then its standard White tank and black seat...
I remember when the 550 came out, I had at that time the 500 four. My opinion, keep it ALL stock as far as I'm concerned.
impressive
Love the tank!
Hey Taylor, what happened to u that u disappeared? I haven’t seen any new videos.
I really do hope u are doing well taking a long vacation.
Wish u all the best. God bless u n family!
The bike came out great. The brat/café racer style really isn't my thing, but I can appreciate the amount of work that goes into something like this. And yes, you're crazy, but it's a good kind of crazy! :)
About the license plate bracket, can someone verify something I heard about California? I heard that California requires the license plate on motorcycles to be mounted horizontal. Is that true?
Excellent job 👌
The tank is awesome in doing somewhat the same with my Yamaha Rd 400 , frame off restoration even top n bottom end motor rebuild but I may leave the tank to show its age and 36 thousand kms
Fuel tank is amazing. The entire build is more than successful. I enjoyed each minute of the series. Already excited about the next project.
When you decide to sell it let me know. The thank is the selling point to me.
Great job mate! Bring on the Yamaha XS series next!
What about the rear guard? Overall it came up very nice and sounds fantastic 😁
You don’t have to explain why you’re using that tank, it looks awesome
Thinking colour scheme, silver black and green?
Before the tank it looked mean(ish)
now it gives a little more confusing message.
Otherwise, really entertaining channel 🙂
patina is actually my favorite color so eye totally get it boss!!!
🤘😎
an u described my ole 67 ford pckup purdy well too.
Amazing job on this build, man! And I love the tank!
It’s not ratty or weathered,
It’s called “RELIC”
Very common in new guitars To look used/vintage.
Best place to buy coils , cb 750
It’s a beautiful ride man, the tank really sets it off nicely. Well done Ty, it’s a credit to you. Now get it shipped over here to 🇬🇧 UK for me right now lol
Sweet 👍
I LOVE the tank. It’s absolutely beautiful and I think you’re right on the money about the unique look it gives the bike.
Great job. I agree with your decision on the gas tank. Unique look and if I was the buyer I'd leave it as it is. Perfect retro tank, ( '75 cb ? ) . Congratulations. 👍
Choice of tank is fantastic! Pristine, repainted, superglossy newly painted tanks, even if original colour are not of any interest to me. I love the 'well-aged' theme (like a good red wine)
This has been a really great video series. I love the bike. Used to be so many here in New Zealand but now super rare.
Great build!!! I started watching this build and was glued throughout the entire series! Came out great all in all the black with the chrome accents and the patina gas tank 👏🏽!!! Thank you for the long electrical version of day 6! Lastly has it sold?
Taylor, I love and appreciate the content. Im resto/modding a 76 cb550. My question is kinds kinda unrelated....but how tall is your old wooden stand that you have had bikes on in the past?
If you can find CB750's at $200 a pop how about doing a full restore of one?
Wow really LOVE the platina look combination 👍👍😍.
Good job.
Awesome series, beautiful build and keep up the clean work (building and editing/filming)!
Only needs fenders.
Love the tank an ide du a flat track mc next on a Honda 👍💪😎
Beautiful job man! I'm doing pretty much exactly that to mine.
Woot! Glad to be watching the end finally. *Note: I will watch the long Day 6 as well. You deserve the views. :)
Did the early CBs Come in both green and Brown. Or is the green ones Ive seen just faded Brown ones? That is a beutifull tank!
Man that needs stiffer shocks... The rear is almost laying on the rear wheel once you sit on it. I would be scared that the wing nuts gets contact with the rear wheel while driving.
Otherwise this was once again a nice build
Great job Taylor!! Really enjoyed watching the 7 day build and came out looking awesome!
Perfect 👏👏
Great little bike bud tank looks perfect.
That makes the bike
What does one of these generally sell for?
this series has just been amazing man! cheers to you! best of luck with your success!!!!
Looks like Austin to me.
Hey Taylor! 👋 What seats do you use on your bikes. Their one off seats? Or from a local shop or something? I like to build minibikes and like the look of that seat on the bike.
Hopefully other different kinds of bikes in the future? Like you said Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki Ducati Harley etc etc etc 👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
