I'm sorry if this comment is perceived as taking anything away from Kaczmarek's terrific run (congrats to her!), but I am now super-impressed by Rhasidat Adeleke, who I was unfamiliar with before these championships.
She didn't do the 400 flat. She had enough with the 400 hurdles, women's 4x4 relay and mixed 4x4 relay. The previous European Championships in Munich 2022 is the only time I can recall where Bol did both the 400 hurdles and 400 flat.
Nice race Adeleke is young but her Polish girl is a monsters and congratulations to her but if Adeleke has a coach like Bob he will train her to beat her,Adeleke has 2 do some 200m like Sydney Mclaughlin
Congratulations, Natalia. Beautiful run at good time! Big opportunities in the upcoming Olympics. She weighs 55 kg and each one is more beautiful than the other!
Well, Sydney is only slightly ahead of the rest this season but she ran her 400 on a faster track than this...albeit not on a faster track than the woman ranked right behind her.
Weird comment from the male commentator, "With those long Irish legs". I thought Klaver was better than what she has shown at these championships. Last season she was losing only to Bol, so I thought in races without Bol, she would be winning more of them.
Not exactly. Natalia Kaczmarek has not lost to Lieke Klaver for two years. This period would have been even longer, but at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene she had stomach problems (probably food poisoning) . That's why Natalia did not perform well in the semi-finals. Kaczmarek ran much better in the heats (and beat Klaver in that race) when she was still healthy. So Natalia Kaczmarek is just underrated.
@@marcd1981 You are welcome. I forgot to add that Natalia skipped the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow and the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul. Maybe that's also the reason why she is less well known.
Natalia can be a factor for medals in Paris, so as Kaver but both would need to have the run of their lives to beat Paulino. And no, Sydney McLaughlin WILL NOT CONTEST THE 400 FLAT in Paris. Mu can be in the mix but she is inconsistent. Maybe Adeleke too.
Klaver is not a gold medal contender. She will need to knock at least 1 second off her PB to win (or perhaps to even medal). As I see it, the gold will be decided between Paulino, Adeleke, Miller Uibo (if back to form) and perhaps Kaczmarek. Adeleke was training through this tournament (no taper) so will be significantly quicker in Paris.
@@andilemali606 , well, last year in the 800, she had a lackluster performance in the final and lost the race she should have won. There are rumors that she will run the 400 this time including relays. May or may not be true.
Ok, for kicks - here are my odds to win the Paris Olympics 400M Final . Paulino [DR]: 5:1 (16.67%) Kaczmarek [POL]: 6:1 (14.29%) Adeleke [IRL]: 6:1 (14.29%) Miller-Uibo [BAH]: 7:1 (12.5%) N. Pryce [JAM]: 7:1 (12.5%) Brit. Wilson [USA]: 8:1 (11.11%) McLaughlin-Levrone [USA]: 5:1 (16.67%) - - If she decides to run S. Williams [BDS]: 20:1 (4.76%) A. Anning [UK]: 30:1 (3.23%) I think the result is: Gold - Paulino - time 48.65 | Silver - Pryce - time 49.41 | Bronze - Adeleke - time 49.48 | 4. Kaczmarek - time 49.63 | 5. Brit. Wilson [USA] - time 49.68 | 6. Miller-Uibo [BAH ] - time 49.75 | 7.. S. Williams [ BDS] - time 49.88 | 8. A. Anning [UK] - time 49..92 Paulino is the most relaxed of the bunch. Doesn't get rattled nor anxious. Nerves will negatively impact the times... 400M is all about managing nerves so runners don't go out toooo fast tooo soon. Finalists will very likely have better results (times) in the Semis, than the finals. If Sidney M. runs, she is a close 2nd to Paulino. I think N. Pryce could be god-send to bettors... I think she still has reserves in her tank (from NCAAs)... She's a dark horse to win it all, and has nothing to lose. Also Britton Wilson is a quiet sleeper, who's looking to redeem herself. Kaczmarek could very well medal, IF she can manage her nerves better than her competitors. What are yours.
Mc-L will win if she decides to run, but I think she wont as means she races every day for 5 days straight doing both events. That 48.75 was into a 2+ m/s head wind. I ran US D1 400m including Natl championships - you are correct about staying relaxed but the reason why it makes u faster is about mechanical and biochemical (energetics) efficiency. In 400 which always becomes anaerobic, u cant waste any effort such as in 100m without consequences on time. Kazmarak has perfect mechanics and uses perfect race strategy - why shes so consistent
@@jpslaym0936 Love it! Great analysis 👊 Nothing like competing in a major championship to convey the impact anxiety has on 400M. Likely the most tactical of all the sprints...
400 is unpredictable. Paulino and Kaczmarek look the best so far. Both experienced, able to do rounds and both capable of sub 49. Battle for the bronze is on. Adeleke is bronze in my opinion. NCAA athletes underperform at big stages due to timing of the season. Miller Uibo can upset but she is yet to run an open 400m.
I was actually disappointed . Now you see how quickly one forgets those years where Holland hardly ever reached any final . But of course Klavertje 4 Lieke did great behind those 2 super women, So anxious to see if Kaz( marek) and Adele(ke) can beat the Americans and Jamaicans .We all know who will win the relays.Nope, no USA nor Jamaica , but the Dutch girls and hopefully even the men who keep doing better and better each year,Maybe it's their time too.
Sydney McLaughlin would beat the lot of them. If we assume the 400 meters is roughly 3.5 secs faster than the 400 meters hurdles Sydney should smash the 400 meters world record in Paris if she surprisingly runs it.

This is something UA-cam should look into. Many videos (not just track and field) have time stamps on them from when someone uploaded the video. It can make it seem like the subject of the video was from that time, even when something happened months ago.
I hope that you can say the same about Femke Bol's performance at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. 'Sydney McLaughlin would have beaten her quite easily '. Right? Sydney is not a European runner so it is obvious that she can't participate in the European Athletics Championships.
she always runs the same, look at some another run from her, she is getting on the 6th gear at the end and listen what the commentator said at the beginning hat Kaczmarek has very strong finish
She's a seasoned 400m runner and knows exactly how to run it, hence why she is consistently good at championships. Adeleke is still learning and getting a sense for how to run it. The difference in experience came through in this race.
Now that's how you do highlights. Looking at you Diamond League.

That doesnt make any sense cause she got gassed out a little at the last straight so she'd be totallly dead if she ran the first 200m even faster.
There will be so many upsets in these Olympics!!
Klaver ❤❤❤
I'm sorry if this comment is perceived as taking anything away from Kaczmarek's terrific run (congrats to her!), but I am now super-impressed by Rhasidat Adeleke, who I was unfamiliar with before these championships.
She ran a super fast 400m race last year. 49 low I think
Adeleke is so resilient and brought a lot to bear in the race. Bravo!
What happened to Bol?
She didn't do the 400 flat. She had enough with the 400 hurdles, women's 4x4 relay and mixed 4x4 relay. The previous European Championships in Munich 2022 is the only time I can recall where Bol did both the 400 hurdles and 400 flat.
@@regolith1350 BOL won both 400 and 400 hurdles in Munich, if I'm not wrong.
Bol would have placed 3rd in this race. She can't beat Kaz nor Adeleke in a 400M flat race when the chips on the line.
@@tascrphsnot really Bol WR in indoor is 49.17s easily beat them in outdoor as outdoor tracks are faster with no incline around the bends
Think you will find that Natalia has NEVER beaten Femke Bol.
The Polish girl could make more money modeling.
moneys not everything my bro
Yet no model can run sub 49 seconds for the 400m dash.
Can't represent your country in modelling.
Running is more noble, inspirational, and more fulfilling.
Terrible comment on a female athlete!
Holllyyy sht Kaczmarek 🥇💪
can you do discus women highlights?
GB ?
the beauty slayed the beast XD
Nice race Adeleke is young but her Polish girl is a monsters and congratulations to her but if Adeleke has a coach like Bob he will train her to beat her,Adeleke has 2 do some 200m like Sydney Mclaughlin
she didnt taper for this championship. her goal is paris
Indonesia 🇮🇩🎉🎉🎉🎉
So Sydney comes in 5th while running hurdles...
Where is Bol?
hurdles
Bol can't participate in 4 events (the 400m hurdles, the 400m, the mixed relay and the women's 4x400m relay). It is pretty obvious.
Having lunch
Congratulations, Natalia. Beautiful run at good time!
Big opportunities in the upcoming Olympics. She weighs 55 kg and each one is more beautiful than the other!
Lieke jó lenne kinyalni nyalogatni ❤
The women's 400 in Paris is goanna be insane, a lot of great runners out there. Not sure if anyone is quite at Sydney's level.
Well, Sydney is only slightly ahead of the rest this season but she ran her 400 on a faster track than this...albeit not on a faster track than the woman ranked right behind her.
Is sydney even doing the 400. She has enough on her plate with the hurdles.
@@tonyclifton2230Sidney 48.75 gran prix NYC...last week
@@tonyclifton2230 She's running 400m hurdles at US Trials so no 400m for Sydney
Kaczmarek the only one with any sense and walking to her blocks. Why waste energy running?
“..with those long Irish legs” 😂 what?
Weird comment from the male commentator, "With those long Irish legs". I thought Klaver was better than what she has shown at these championships. Last season she was losing only to Bol, so I thought in races without Bol, she would be winning more of them.
I thought I was the only one who heard that comment so weird
Not exactly. Natalia Kaczmarek has not lost to Lieke Klaver for two years. This period would have been even longer, but at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene she had stomach problems (probably food poisoning) . That's why Natalia did not perform well in the semi-finals. Kaczmarek ran much better in the heats (and beat Klaver in that race) when she was still healthy. So Natalia Kaczmarek is just underrated.
@@jennifernangboa He was probably about to say something else and corrected to that statement, trying not to be offensive. Didn't quite work, though.
@@alialibaba1886 Thanks for that, I didn't know that.
@@marcd1981 You are welcome.
I forgot to add that Natalia skipped the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow and the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul. Maybe that's also the reason why she is less well known.
Moi aunty Adeleke was born in county Kildare.
Adaleke could be Athing MO 's sister or first cousin!!
What about a 400 m women final with BOL, KLAVER, ADELEKE, KACZMAREK and PAULINHO ?
How do you judge Athing as being inconsistent when she doesn't compete in the 400m but in the 800m?
Klaver is not a gold medal contender. She will need to knock at least 1 second off her PB to win (or perhaps to even medal). As I see it, the gold will be decided between Paulino, Adeleke, Miller Uibo (if back to form) and perhaps Kaczmarek. Adeleke was training through this tournament (no taper) so will be significantly quicker in Paris.
@@taf44tt8io , there will be no Bol or McLaughlin in the 400 flat. They will both run the 400 hurdles.
@@andilemali606 , well, last year in the 800, she had a lackluster performance in the final and lost the race she should have won. There are rumors that she will run the 400 this time including relays. May or may not be true.
Ok, for kicks - here are my odds to win the Paris Olympics 400M Final .
Paulino [DR]: 5:1 (16.67%)
Kaczmarek [POL]: 6:1 (14.29%)
Adeleke [IRL]: 6:1 (14.29%)
Miller-Uibo [BAH]: 7:1 (12.5%)
N. Pryce [JAM]: 7:1 (12.5%)
Brit. Wilson [USA]: 8:1 (11.11%)
McLaughlin-Levrone [USA]: 5:1 (16.67%) - - If she decides to run
S. Williams [BDS]: 20:1 (4.76%)
A. Anning [UK]: 30:1 (3.23%)
I think the result is: Gold - Paulino - time 48.65 | Silver - Pryce - time 49.41 | Bronze - Adeleke - time 49.48 | 4. Kaczmarek - time 49.63 |
5. Brit. Wilson [USA] - time 49.68 | 6. Miller-Uibo [BAH ] - time 49.75 | 7.. S. Williams [ BDS] - time 49.88 |
8. A. Anning [UK] - time 49..92
Paulino is the most relaxed of the bunch.
Kazmerek bronze. She has the momentum
@@yurikriegel2553 Adeleke didnt even taper for these championships. she trained right through as normal.
She fine.
Sharlene Mawdsley is Beautiful, Natalia Kaz is Beautiful, and Also Adeleke is Good Looking To.😜😜😜😜😜💯💯💯
You left out Lieke Klavert !
Same with Nielsen. Honestly all of them are beautiful.
Sharlene came in last with this bunch, Her makeup and eyeliner looked good and even though
Am I the only one who is shocked Adeleke lost? Great run, Kacz
Yup! Champ beating an up and coming youngster...a shocker indeed 😅.
Natalia Kaczmarek - learn and memorize her name, Mister...
Makes the Olympic gold much sweeter... Hey, even Usain Bolt lost on his way to the top.
yes
Kaczmarek is the best.
Adekele .....long Irish legs 😂😂

She was born and bred in Dublin hence the Irish legs.

Irish been in the sun for too long
Which flag is ‘ADELEKE’ representing? ‘Cause I’m pretty sure it’s a Nigerian🇳🇬 name.

Ireland. We love her.
What country does Sharlene Mawdsley represent? 'Cause I'm pretty sure it's an English name.
Are Sharlene Mawdsley's parents English? Did they move from England to Ireland?
This is a foolish comment. It suggests that you are not aware that people travel and immigration is a necessary fact of life and part of humanity. WE ARE ONE FFS. Your comment suggests that you have a very limited depth of life experience the comment seems to come from a bigoted point of view. Rhasidat is Irish. Born and reared. Tallaght. We love her. We are proud of her. We are so lucky to have her as part of our family. She is one of our best. Mad, mad respect to her x

I think Kaczmarek, Miller-Uibo and even Adeleke, Paulino and others also are going to look out for Lurdes Manuel 🇨🇿 in coming year. 💢🙄

Sydney will still beat both European women...but it's gonna be an exciting race 🔥
How did we🇳🇬 lose adeleke

Why you lie that this race was 35min ago.
This happened yesterday I think
It was uploaded 35 minutes ago ...
Donkey brain
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BONEHEAD!
BONEHEAD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This is something UA-cam should look into. Many videos (not just track and field) have time stamps on them from when someone uploaded the video. It can make it seem like the subject of the video was from that time, even when something happened months ago.
Something says dope..
That would probably be you!! 🙄
I agree, Her recovery was too quick. The other girls were huffing and puffing for air while her breathing was normal
It's what your father calls you every time he looks at you.
Kaczmarek will beat Adeleke every time...Bol would beat them all quite easily as would Sydney McGloughlin
McLaughlin
I hope that you can say the same about Femke Bol's performance at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. 'Sydney McLaughlin would have beaten her quite easily '. Right?
Sydney is not a European runner so it is obvious that she can't participate in the European Athletics Championships.
Nah, she only 21 she will destroy kaczmarek when she’s the same age.
the polish lass tapered for these championships, adeleke did not. u will see in paris
@simonmc78 She did not. Natalia Kaczmarek focuses on the Paris Olympics.
Go to Nigeria to run
Why would she go to a foreign country?
Reminds me of Mo farah competing in europeans for uk..Should be in african finals not European. Its actually racist to the native Irish athletes
Native Irish? She's from Tallaght. I know racists aren't the brightest, but you're really pushing the boat out.
ADELEKE? Have the Irish changed their mind about driving out Africans? It's only athletics now, gymnastics is rising,
she was born in ireland
Is it just me or is it normal to find another gear after 325m? Suspect!
Oh gee everything is suspect come on, She opens her stride all the way at 300 and empties the tank because she is a smart runner
she always runs the same, look at some another run from her, she is getting on the 6th gear at the end and listen what the commentator said at the beginning hat Kaczmarek has very strong finish
She's a seasoned 400m runner and knows exactly how to run it, hence why she is consistently good at championships. Adeleke is still learning and getting a sense for how to run it. The difference in experience came through in this race.
Beautiful white blonde athlete
