@Alicia, How often do you rotate food? Do you empty out your freezer ever? We began over purchasing for our family after covid and I realized quickly a lot of food would be freezer burnt. I am working on a healthy balance and getting more organized.

She has twelve kids, 4 of them teenage boys. If you do the math on the muffin bites alone, with 20 packs in a box, they would go through one box every 1.5 days. And that's assuming each kid only has one package per day.

So jealous of his quickly you chose pillows. I have gone to three stores, got so overwhelmed with their choice of pillows, tried / felt them all, got too stressed and left all three stores!!!!! 😅 I am still on the hunt for a good pillow.

I think what a smart idea would be, if you had a clip board with paper and a pen, so when you see you need something, you can write it down at that time, and when you make your shopping list, you will have the things you need for the pantry or the fridge/freezers outside.
I keep trying to find a way for the kids to tell me, you might be on to something here! They could write it down as they empty something.
@@DoughertyDozen If you do the clip board idea, you could some how hang it on the pantry, and hang a pen or pencil. If you use one of freezers or on one of fridges, put a piece of paper and secure it down with a magnet. Maybe one of those boards that you can use a dry erase pen on it, then wipe it off, when you put it on your list. This way the kids could help out when you run out of things.

UPS stores have the best cutting tool. It plastic, round anout the size of a fifty cent piece. It has a slide button that you push forward and a tiny blade comes out. So handy you could put it on a curly bungy cord and leave on a couple shelves.

Assuming 360 muffin bite packages, if 6 kids eat one pack a day, that's 60 days of muffin bites. If every kid has one pack a day, that's 30 days. I'm confused why the math is concerning to you - did you not calculate this before you chose to comment? Many families make Costco a once a month visit, so this seems a pretty standard purchase for such a large family.
And may I make another suggestion for you get a clear bin and put the snacks in there and get rid of the bulky boxes

Put labels on them or write on them with perm marker. You can dump the boxes in and get rid of the boxes.
