This is a reasonably common brand in the UK and the downside is to owning one, they depreciate massively if you try to sell it on. They are practically given away on the second hand market. I’ve been genuinely surprised at what a positive response they seem to be getting on YT, for the super low prices over here they may just be worth a look after all.
Firefly just came out with a Jaguar style baritone and it seems very similar. Same features, same scale length. I ordered one for $170. Showing up today, I hope. Your tuning is insane, man. Way cool.
@@JustinTutor The tailpieces and string mounts are different. Maybe other features as well. Would be an interesting comparison, but they both look great to me. Enjoy your axe!
It's just a flaw in the toggle switch design. Kinda why most people use blade switches on things. Had the same issue even with premium EMG toggleswitches.
and finally somebody figured out that a "reverse" head is just better a $300 guitar that is perfect just doesn't exist. most of us buy these cheaper models BECAUSE we like to tinker and upgrade.
G4M can replace the guitar for you without you having to pay for new shipping etc. They have a great customer service. Also, there should be a 1-year warranty on the guitar. Maybe the electronic issue is just oxidation, which might be solved by cleaning and spraying the electronics. I have the same guitar and mine works perfectly.
@@Mattia_Bacca I'm in Poland and asked a friend who ordered something from g4m before, he said that you have to return that to Germany and cover the cost of international shipping (~100 zloty, which is ~23 Euro), and shipping FROM g4m is 5 times lower.
Heres a secret for everyone its not a Baritone a baritone is BEADF#B if you look at recommended tuning its EADGBE whole step down from standard ,which makes it a BASS 6 not a Baritone
@@BetaBreakingbut the terms "baritone" and "bass" are nothing to do with neck/nut width, tone or even pickups. They are very specific musical terms which relate to the frequency range same as alto, tenor, soprano and falsetto. And the low frequency range of this instrument makes it a bass.
"This 200$ baritone guitar" is kinda what "200$ baritone guitar"? Did you ever thought, that people often want to hear how the guitar sounds on clean, but not to hear your talking over the video of you playing the guitar. Did you ever thought, that overdistorted sound doesn't tell anything about the guitar sound at all? Think about it...
Oh you mean like every single video in existence? "can it do country" everything can do non metal music. What we really need to do is, can it do metal. That's what we all wanna know
@@DamianPendragon every piece of shit can do metal. Input highgain hambuckers and even a toster will metal. Rich clean tone - is the thing that matters

These baritone Rogues, especially across the water here, hold up very well. I’ve seen them sell for $600 or so when they weren’t in stock a while back

I saw that! Honestly looks like almost the exact same guitar haha. I hope yours is awesome! Thanks for checking out the video.

Does it creep sharp on higher frets? Great video btw!
Any quality issues year after? Neck keeps geometry?

😂 MEGA drop d
What tuning is considered "standard" how it gives from the factory?
Hi, does it neck dive or is it balanced?
So, a year later, how did you deal with the faulty selector switch? I'm considering purchasing a (cheap) Baritone.
Hey can you recommend a hard case for it?

It's still set up like a guitar and sounds like it through an amp

@@brendanm6921if you want to be like that, isn't a bass guitar technically a contrabass?
@@Harper_Sloane no because it isn't in the contrabass range, it's in the bass range. Same as a double bass.
I should’ve bought it on Black Friday when it was really cheap.
What price was it on Black Friday?
What song did you play in the clean section? It’s hurting my head trying to figure it out 😂
Haha! Honestly I was just picking around on some chords I really like. Sorry! Not sure what the song you’re thinking of could be!
It sounds a little bit like certain songs in the Last Of Us soundtrack if that's what familiar to you
3:12 first riff is clearly The Offering by Sleep token
can I play standard tuning in this guitar? EADGBE
It is tuned like that but it’s an octave lower than a standard guitar.
I hope it gets well. 😟
more like you got a free kill switch

If you're going to tear off the electronics, then just paint it
Why, it looks nice
