Ashton Court parkrun | A Big Hill in Bristol

Ashton Court parkrun is on top of a hill overlooking Bristol. It's not flat and the first mile takes you up over 100 metres of elevation gain. Let's see how I got on with my first bit of parkrun tourism for quite some time.

I'd say one thing - I'd be an honor to meet you personally and run in one event with you. My plan for next year is to definitely higher the number of km throughout weeks/months and in '24 try this amazing Thames 100. From time to time, I'm going back to your video from Thames 100 and I'm just amazed. Not only about what you accomplished meaning 100 miles but also the route, London which I've always wanted to visit, UK as a country to fly in and explore and like different mindset of people there (more cheerful with this be-happy-together attitude). Happy to be a subscriber and be part of running community

@@FilmMyRun definitely won't be having an expert physical condition so I'll running in 2024 not 2023. In 2023, I'll be taking part in my first marathon ever 😊 can't wait. I hop you're training sessions will allow you to beat your PB

I guess it depends how long you have to run downhill for and how steep it is. Thankfully, it was only for 2km so it wasn't too bad.
