@@Rockwell28 Wrestling comes before bjj because takedowns and takedown defence is more important then submissions. Ground fighting is good to have but its comes after wrestling and striking in priority.
Well because it’s mixed martial arts, also if it’s a fight it doesn’t mean your strictly one thing however his wrestling knowledge was better and more effective to have than the kickboxer/striker. Most fights go to the ground that’s just an undeniable fact.
However in a a street fight no one sticks to any particular style anyway....so let's give it to the winner ..a winner is after all The Winner....no doubt about this
The wrestler low key could have finished the fight much faster if he had went for more throws and takedowns. If anything the fact that he kept the fight standing gave the kick boxer more of a chance
